6: Arrival of the unexpected...

Felix's POV:
I was walking outta my classroom when I overheard lia, yeji and haewon talking, I went closer and hid behind a locker to hear them clearly and I heard:

Haewon: No not at all!!! Why would I cry bcause of them? Their words don't even affect me! I just got reminded of the past, nothing else.

Lia: Really? Then what r those scratches and burn marks on ur legs? They weren't there yesterday.

Haewon: Well uh...

I can see it by her face that she'll literally spill the truth out any sec now, before she tells it to them, I gotta go there and act like we're friends.

I join them immediately and put my hand around haewon's shoulder to show them I'm her friend now.

Author's POV:

Felix: Heyyy Haewon, what's up? *acts friendly and puts his hands on her shoulder*

Lia: um Felix, what do u think you're doing? Remove ur hands from her shoulder, you're making her feel uncomfortable.

Felix: Why should I? We're good friends now, aren't we  Haewonnie? *Looks at haewon with a fake smile* *signs her to say yes*

Haewon: y-yes we are. *nervous smile*

Yeji: BRUH, Since when?!?!

Felix: Since TODAY, I apologized to her and made a deal that we won't trouble each other and now we're friends! *fake smile*

Lia: *suspicious face* So u also have a NICKNAME 4 her now? Like seriously, "HAEWONNIE"?!?!?!

Felix: Yea! Isn't it a cute nickname?

Yeji: *sarcasm* yea right.... we'll talk about it later, now where were we? Yea, about those scratches and burn marks on your legs, haewon, tell us what happened.

Haewon: The thing is-

Felix: The thing is that those scratches came when she fell down the school gate today while climbing on it, if u remember, she got late today...

Haewon: *In mind* This stupid guy keeps cutting me off 4 God's sake😒

Yeji: And how do u know that happened felix?
Felix: I WAS STANDING RIGHT THERE TALKING TO HYUNJIN DUMMY, AND PLUS EVERYONE'S BEEN TALKING ABOUT IT TOO, SO HOW TF WOULD I NOT KNOW?!?!

Yeji: Okok chill bro...
Haewon: *In mind* When were they there? I didn't even see them!

Felix: Like seriously, as soon as I saw her hurt, I ran towards her asking if she was ok which she was ofc not but yea.
Haewon: *in rage* OK, I CANT TAKE THIS ANYMORE-

Felix interepts and puts his hands on haewon's mouth to make her shut up.

Lia: You can't take what anymore?
Felix: Erm, she can't take my hotness anymore! I know you're drowned into my face and my deep voice haewonnie 😏 Come on... everybody LOVES me!

Yeji, Lia and Haewon: EXCEPT US.

Lia: Forget about the scratches, what about those burn marks on ur leg? They can't come when u jump off a high place unless u jump in a fire which I know u completely did NOT...

Felix: *Whispers* listen here, u better play along or ur in a big trouble young lady, now it's up to u what to answer them.

Lia and Yeji feel suspicious

Haewon starts to sweat now....
Haewon: Uhmmm, I-Its bcause yesterday I accidentally knocked over a burning hot bowl of ramyeon down on my legs in the kitchen. *Nervous laugh*

Yeji: Ooook......? Be careful next time then.
Haewon: yesyes I will. *Fake smile*

Lia: Ok, let's get going to our next class now...

Lia and Yeji leave.

Haewon is left with Felix

Felix: If u had told them the truth today, u were sooo gonna get fucked up by me. *death glare*
Haewon: that death glare of urs won't scare me bish!
Felix: *chuckles* stop acting tough already, I saw how u were pleading and begging 4 ur life tdy.

Haewon: Don't remind me of it, and don't u dare call me  "haewonnie" again, the only person who can call me that is my dad.

(Felix didn't know that haewon's dad had passed away)

Felix: Hey, watch ur tone. If I joke around with u a little, doesnt mean that you'll talk to me however u want. And btw, what's so "special" that only ur dad can call u that name, I can call u whatever I want. Tbh, dads are kinda worthless, my dad abandoned me when I was 7. Such a bitch. Anyways, I'm telling u ur dad will turn out the same one day, so no one cares what ur dad calls u.

Haewon was so furious, that she slapped Felix so hard, he thudded on the ground.
Haewon: ARE U CRAZY? I CARE ABOUT WHAT MY DAD CALLS ME,
AND IDC IF MY DAD TURNS OUT LIKE THAT BCAUSE HE'S NO MORE ON THIS EARTH!!!! *tear rolls down her cheek*

Felix wanted to slap haewon back since she slapped him, but he froze on his spot when he heard that her dad had passed away...

Felix: look I'm srry, I didn't know that happened to u, I just said everything from my point of view.

Haewon: from YOUR point of view?!?! U JUST said that my dad will turn out like this too!!! ykw, out of all the rude ppl I've met, U R THE WORST OF ALL!!! U hurt me so many times and I didn't say anything, but now you've taken it too far! Pretty sure that not only me, but u may have done this nonsense with a lot of innocents!

Saying this, haewon runs away in tears.

Felix's POV
I've never felt pity on her, even after torturing her, but when those words came out of her mouth, I felt like I was such a bad person to her, not only her but other ppl too.

I was sitting on my seat talking to lia and yeji when our teacher entered the class...

Ms. Park: Good morning students!
All students: Good morning Ms. Park!
Ms. Wow! Everyone looks energetic tdy! That's good, today we'll be having a new student joining us, pls welcome Cho Yeong - Su!!!!

Everyone claps and welcomes him except me.
He is my abusive ex, how worse could my life get at this point!
