Hey guys!!! I know I just posted a Chris one but I had the motivation to write a Matt one...... I feel like when I have the motivation and time to just write!! Well anyways I wrote this during drivers Ed again, it probably won't be as long as the last one but still I'm just happy I'm writing again!!!! I did find some prompts on tumblr so that really helped a lot with this one, idk why I randomly looked up sick fic prompts 🤷🏾‍♀️. Oh well I hope you guys enjoy and don't forget to vote and comment what you want to see me wrote in the near future  and who or what bands you want me to write for, I'm open to any suggestions or ideas!!❤️❤️ love you guys! It's hard to believe I joined this platform over 3 years ago🤯 and the response I've gotten is amazing I couldn't be anymore grateful!!

When Matt woke up he was freezing 'geez that's weird I swear I didn't feel like this last night' he thought. He and his brothers were pre-filming a YouTube video before they went back to LA, he changed out of the cloths he slept in, showered, and changed into a r-shirt and jeans. Walking to the kitchen seemed like a chore but he did it anyways, when Nick and Chris noticed him they expressed their concern when Matt came over and hugged Chris. " whatcha doin there bud?" Chris asked looking over at Nick with concern, " can I just have a hug?" Matt asked voice muffled by Chris's shirt and slightly shivering. " dude why are you shivering your never cold are you okay?" Chris asked surprised holding Matt closer and heading towards the couch thinking Matt felt kinda warm. As Chris got up to get the thermometer he heard Matt whimper a " don't leave me please?" " are you sure your ok?" He asked leaving down, " I swear I wasn't sick last night." Matt admitted gagging under his breath. " ok that's it we're canceling the video and telling the fans Matt's sick and needs a break." Nick exclaimed " no I-i can film, we haven't missed a day ever! We've even filmed with one of us sick before." Matt defended gaging again but this time bolting off to the bathroom throwing the toilet seat up and brining up everything in his system. After he was finished he walked back out and crashed into the couch " do you think you can stomach some water?" Nick asked coming back, Chris also came back with the thermometer, a bucket, fever reducer, and a wet wash cloth which he put on Matt's forehead. " it's an upset stomach I'll be fine." Matt groaned wrapping his arms around himself in an attempt to keep the pain at ease, " hey take it easy Matt, you're going to get yourself all worked up and make yourself sicker." Chris soothed rubbing Matt's back calmly, " I hope it's fine I'll just stay here and wallow in self pity, just leave me alone." He snapped . Chris huffed and walked down the stairs to his room , " I'm sorry I just don't feel good." Matt said with unshed tears in his eyes, " I know but we can't talk to people like that kid." Nick soothed. Matt trek asleep after and Nick decided to go check up on Chris to make sure he hadn't taken his anger out on anything, " Chris you okay kid?" Nick asked through a closed door. " yeah I'm okay, just stressed out and then Matt snapping added on to that." Chris admitted, a few hours later Matt woke up and smelled good so he went to the kitchen and collapsed into " I think the medicine is wearing off I feel awful." Matt said breaking the collected silence " yeah you don't look great. Let's take your temp and get more meds in you. Do you think you could eat anything?" Chris asked as Matt teared up " hey, hey, hey, don't cry , please don't cry, it's  going to be okay. Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?" Nick asked, "i-i think I'm gonna throw up." Matt said panicked shaking his head which didn't help his nausea at all, " okay, okay let's get you over to the sink, Nick said calmly gideing the sick teen over to the sink and turning on the water. " hey I got the- is he okay Nick ?" Chris asked worried as he walked in on Matt throwing up in their kitchen sink, " he started panicking when you left telling me he was going to get sick and now we're here". Nick explained as Matt finished and Chris brought he thermometer over to check Matt's temp, " okay we are at 101.8 right now let's get you some more fever reducer and get you to bed? How does that sound?" Chris soothed as Matt broke down crying. He handed Matt the medicine, they were debating on calling their mom and dad to fly out a few days later when Matt still wasn't getting any better but Marry Lou just told them to take him to the doctor to see what was wrong before they flew out to LA, so they took him to the doctors and they told them that he had a bad case of the flu, they gave him some antibiotics and gave them tips for helping to try and break Matt's fever. It took about a week for Matt to feel 100% better and could fully function without throwing up and his body aching whenever he moved , Chris and Nick were very thankful that Matt had gotten through this bout of sickness knowing that it was the worst off any of them had been that sick( minus the chugging water challenge they did and Chris was throwing up for hours after) but were thankful, Mary Lou and their dad did end up flying out to check on Matt and helping the other boys take care of him.
