The sun beaming brightly amongst the plains of your homeland. A subtle breeze weaved through the trees as the leaves wavered down amongst the wind. You stare up at the clouds above, taking in your surroundings.

Your notebook was placed neatly on top of your lap, striving for a spike of creativity to peak your thoughts, skimming around at the citizens before you. You sat calmly, waiting in silence for the slightest urge for something fascinating to happen.

It felt like eons were flying by in hopes for something to occur on the surface you lived on. The human world didn't seek your interest compared to monsters' lives. You drew many interpretations from the histories you learned within those classes.

As you can tell, Y/N is immortal, unlike any other human; they were one of the few who weren't human to begin with. Like any other guardian in the multiverse, they possessed special powers like no other with a particular purpose in the world; however, Y/N couldn't sit the feeling of not being Human.

Disbelief was constantly on their mind, and they did not have enough evidence to prove otherwise... they knew they were different compared to other humans within their world, but that did not change their way of writing tales...

The tales of one day finding themselves free from this world and starting a new story...one that will forever be in their memories for eternity for all that matters. Here, they were just listening to the winds as the slight chirps of birdlings brought them to their senses.

"Must have got lost in thought again, huh?" a tone so gentle and yet light as you take a deep breath, bringing yourself more into reality. However, the subtle tightening deep down in your stomach made you feel uneasy.

like a knot but with no actual cause for such a strange gut feeling. You turn around to look at the village. Seeming uneasy all of a sudden, knowing that a strange gut feeling isn't a good indication. Something terrible was going to happen..but when?In alert, you stood from the bench you were initially sitting on and packed your notebook back in your carry bag.

Not seeming to feel safe being outside anymore, you run over to the nearest cafe, wanting to at least be someplace you feel more comfortable being. Thankfully it was still open despite the time.

You enter the doors, and a ringing of a bell indicates a new arrival to the staff. " Well, what is quite a fine like yourself coming in to relax when you could be out enjoying the sun?" a man approaches the counter, arms crossed as you approach the counter in front of them.

The others wore a white apron over their light brown clothing, sleeves rolled up, seeming to look professional in their work. You approached them with a smile hiding the slight discomfort from before and waved at them.

"Hi Nev, it's been a while, but I just needed to come and get some coffee to cool down my nerves," you spoke, trying not to make eye contact due to slight social anxiety wanting to peak. Nev nodded, jotting down the order.

When done, you pay him the right amount before heading towards the nearest table by a window. You found it more comforting looking outside the window as the sun shone down the streets.

Awaiting your coffee, you notice a shift in the wind currents, which seem to die down. A little too much... This world was known to have quite drastic changes in weather, but you swore that the weather forecast was supposed to be quite windy today, so why the sudden change? It was then that the sound of screams echoed through the streets.

If it were not for the window screen, the sounds would repeat themselves over and over in her mind. Your face pales, as did your eyes grow more prominent in shock. The shire fear and sudden adrenaline through your body as you rushed from the spot you initially were in, ignoring the clatter of the chair as rushed you slamed the door wide open.
