-You-
I come back after a couple of minutes, wearing my best smile to avoid worrying him or letting him suspect anything.
I feel guilty for keeping this from him, but it seems necessary. If he finds out anything regarding this matter.... he might never trust me again. I can't afford that.. no.. I can't risk it..not at all. Even though what he'd discover isn't the complete truth, I just can't bring myself to let him know anything about it. I have to do everything I can to keep it.
"What happened? Is everything okay?" Jimin asks with a hint of concern in his sweet voice.
It gives me a sense of serenity that I have someone in my life who truly cares about me.. who's prepared to listen me out in any situation, and whom I can share anything with.. without hesitation or fear of getting judged..
"Yeah, don't worry; it's just something work related. I'll turn off my phone now so they don't bother me again," I smile reassuring him, trying not to let it affect our time together.
After we finish our dinner, I head towards the living room. Jimin is sitting with Lily, his back turns as I walk in.
"See, Lily, your mom is hiding things from me now..." Jimin playfully remarks, a mix of teasing and genuine concern in his tone, a sight that aches my heart.
"Jimin, it's not like that. It's nothing serious," I say, gently pulling on his shoulder to face me, but he resists, playfully pretending to be mad.
"Meow meow," Lily chimes in, seemingly taking sides.
"Thank you, Lily. At least I got you on my side," Jimin jokes, and I can't help but laugh.
"Jiminnnn..." I use all my strength to pull him, and he ends up falling on top of me, creating a playful and intimate moment.
My breath hitches as he gazes deep into my soul. He doesn't get off of me, instead holds himself up using his elbows at the sides of my head.
"What's bothering you? You think I'm unable to help you? You don't even want to talk about it to me?" Jimin whispers with his deep voice, his concern is evident, and his closeness makes my heart flutter.
"I promise you, Jimin, if it was anything serious, I would tell you. You're the only person I come back to at the end of the day, and you know it," I assure him brushing my thumb across his cheekbone.
"Even if it's something minor, it's still bothering you. So tell me," Jimin persists, his eyes searching mine.
I sigh and decide to tell him half of the truth. "It's my friend, Elly. She's coming over to stay for a week here," I answer.
"What about it is there to worry about?" Jimin inquires, his gaze soft.
"The thing is that she's very snobby and rude..." I sigh, feeling comfortable sharing my concerns with him.
"Why are you friends with such a person?" Jimin frowns, genuinely curious.
"She's not my friend. I don't have many friends.." I whisper the last part feeling embarrassed, "She's just my colleague. I couldn't say no..." I explain, appreciating Jimin's understanding nature.
"Me too, Y/n. I have nobody but you," Jimin's vulnerability tugs at my heart. "Don't worry; it'll be alright. I'll just ignore her if she misbehaves, which I doubt will get to that point because she won't be able to endure my charms," he adds, bringing a playful smile to my face.
"You're gonna try to rizz her? I'll beat you up," I tease, enjoying the warmth of our banter.
"Why?" Jimin's playful demeanor grows, and he leans in closer.
I clear my throat, feeling a sudden rush of shyness. "Should we watch a movie?" I suggest, changing the topic.
"What should we watch?" Jimin's eyes light up with excitement.
"The Notebook," I suggest, knowing it's one of his favorites.
"You know I have watched that movie many times but it still feels like I'm watching it for the first time when I watch with you," He admits, a blush tinting my cheeks.
I cover us with a blanket as he lies on my lap, our usual movie night routine. I gently stroke his hair, and he almost falls asleep until a loud thud is heard, and the electricity goes off.
"Oh no.." I express my disappointment, but Jimin lights a candle near us, creating a cozy atmosphere.
"Come with me," Jimin suggests, bringing my hand into his, and we step outside.
We sit on a swing, gazing at the beautiful, sparkling stars almost covered by dark clouds while a cold breeze hits our faces.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" I whisper, admiring the view which is creating a serene ambiance.
"Yes, it sure is," He replies.
I turn my eyes towards Jimin, and my heart races as I find him looking at me.
"That's corny and cliche," I playfully laugh, hiding my shyness.
"Still facts," he says, his eyes holding a depth of emotion.
I slide an arm between his and put my head on his shoulder, feeling the warmth of the moment.
"I want to stay like this forever; it's so comforting. Not only this weather, especially because I'm with you," He pours his heart out.
I smile at his words, cherishing the shared silence between us. Suddenly, a loud thunder is heard, causing me to hug Jimin immediately. I slowly look up, finding him looking down at my face with loving eyes.
His gaze moves from my eyes to my lips, causing my heart to skip a beat.
Without second thoughts, I move my face up as he leans down.
Inches away before our lips touch, and it suddenly starts raining.
However, that doesn't stop us, and our lips meet in a sweet and passionate kiss, the raindrops adding a romantic touch to the moment.
As our lips touch, time stands still. In this moment, nothing else matters just us, our lips connecting, eyes closing, and hearts beating as one. The rain showers on us, Jimin's hands gently on my waist, creating warm sensations throughout my body. It feels like we're the only two people in this world, lost in our romantic world.
There's a profound sense of peace and calmness. All worries and troubles seem to fade away. The moment is perfect, and all we need is each other.
Jimin's fingers run through my hair, our eyes still locked, holding onto the magic of our first kiss.
