Chapter 1 - Pilot (part 2)

p.s sorry last chapter was really short.

Y/N POV

After landing where I saw N and a worker drone, I decided to ease drop for a little bit because why not.

N: "I'm Serial Designation N, nice to meet you. I'm kind of the leader of the squad in this city.

I thought I was hearing things for a second but I let him have his moment just cause.

N: "That's not true, everyone tells me I'm useless and terrible. Wait, I'm not supposed to tell you that part! Biscuits!"

well he's not really useless, our "teammates" just don't give him a chance. I thought to myself as N exposed himself to a basically stranger.

N: "Well honesty is the best policy!"

After N and Uzi I think was the worker drone's name were conversating for a little bit (not really), they decided to go into that landing pod where me and N originally landed. That's when I decided to join in on whatever was happening.

Y/N: "N! Oh uh hello there." I say waving at Uzi.

N: looks at Y/N slightly surprised by Y/N's sudden appearance but calms down quickly

"Hey Y/N, look at our new squad member!"

N says referring to Uzi.

Y/N: "You gotta be kidding." I mean I'm not one to judge but I don't think disassembly drones are suppose to be "that" short.

{timeskip to after Uzi suggests to go into the landing pod cus im too lazy}

I watched in disgust as Uzi put her injured hand inside of N's mouth. When she pulled it out, there was saliva dripping out.

N: "uuuhhh sweet haha I'm open to new things I guess."

Uzi: " we are NEVER talking about this."

N: "talking about what? Consider it uh.... Repressed."

N spoke in this weird coolish boyish tone in his voice while he crossed arms over one another.

I rolled my eyes and chuckled a little bit at N's comment. But then it hit me. J and V are gonna be back any minute so I should probably go outside now and act like I was doing something.

Uzi POV [POV unlocked]

After a couple seconds of the other disassembly drone I think Y/N going out to do something, I decided to speak up.

Uzi: Uh, you mentioned other members of your squad? Are they coming back soon?

N: "Oh, yeah. Three others. I think you met one of them already but the other two are out hunting. You'll love them."

I decided to get comfortable in my chair while wiping the rest of N's saliva from my hand off.

N: " First, there's V.

{Flashback}

A/N POV

The flashback starts with V tearing worker drones apart with N just watching in the back.

Random Worker Drone: "No, No! Please don't feed me my own entrails in front of my family!

V then feeds him his own entrails in front of his family then proceeds to kill them all

V: "And yet, I still feel nothing." \crazy look flashes then goes back to normal eyes/

N: "So uh V, I heard the this pla-"

V: " Oh God, who are you?!"

And with that V took off leaving N behind

{Flashback Ends}

Back To Uzi POV

N: "A lot of mutual respect there uuuhhh moving on. Then there's our leader J."

{Flashback.... again}

A/N POV

Flashback starts with J pinning N to the ground with her foot on his neck basically choking him

J: "N, your worthless and terrible."

N: "thank you" N says struggling to breathe under J's foot

J: "And if the company allowed it, I would straight up kill you MYSELF!"

{Flashback Ends}

Uzi POV

N: J's awesome. Now last but definitely not least is Y/N.

{Last Flashback for this chapter I swear}

A/N POV

N returns from hunting with his wings all busted up.

J: "Great what did you do now Moron?"

Y/N then smacks J upside the head then goes over to N and cups his metal or robotic cheeks (face kind).

Y/N: "Are you ok N?"

N: " I-I um yeah it just kinda stings a little." N says while his eyescreen has a yellow blush.

J: "Don't baby him Moron!"

Y/N: "Don't call me a moron, Moron!"

J: "Idiot"

Y/N: "Dummy"

J:"Bozo"

Y/N: "Stupid"

J: "Ugly"

Y/N then gasps at J's comment

Y/N: "IMBECILE!"

{Flashback Ends}

Uzi POV

N: "Y/N's probably the only drone that hasn't called me useless and terrible, she actually believes in me. But um in reality I kinda have a crush on her. YOU CAN'T TELL HER OK?!

I just motioned pulling a zipper over my mouth since he seemed pretty serious about it. I wondered why disassembly drones have to kill us so guess I should ask.

Uzi: "So uhh besides murdering worker drones- wait uh why do we do that again?"

N: "Well besides ingesting their warm sweet~ oil to avoid overheating and dying? I just wanna be useful. I was given a job and I always wanna try my best."

Uzi: "And look at all the respect that's gotten you N! You really think the company isn't gonna dispose of you once all the workers are dead?"

N: " Oh my, you sure are rebellious! It's kind of exciting but not as much fun as uh following the rules."

Just as N said that we both started to hear footsteps. what I didn't know was from who but the thing that was clear was I had to get out of here and fast.
