The Date

*closes book*

"Alrighty Usui, I'm finally done with everything here. Let's be on our way to Maid La...Usui?"

Usui was asleep with his head leaning on a window pane. I guess he was bored and tired having to wait for me. Well...i think i'll just pay a visit to the washroom first.

I stood up slowly so as to prevent making too much noise with my chair and tip-toed out the Student Council room.

When i was on the way back and about to enter the room, i realised Usui wasn't in the room anymore. I was shocked and quickly went in to confirm what i saw until...

"BOO" Usui popped out from behind me and shoved me lightly when i passed the door.

I slowly turned my head backwards and gave him a death glare and Usui was holding up his palms in a defensive manner.

"Woah woah woah chill down Misaki haha i justed wanted to play around after waking up."

"By the way why didn't you wake me up? I almost thought that you left for work without me and wanted to quickly leave until i saw your bag still on the table."

"HAHA i didn't want to disturb your nap so i just went to the washroom..."

"Then shall we leave now, milady?" He put his right hand over his chest and bowed down while looking up at me.

"*sigh* of course, your highness." I did a courtsey with my skirt and ended up laughing like a primary school kid. I guess the both of us never get any younger :')

When we arrived at Maid Latte, we started work right away and didn't really have a chance to meet up until the shop closed. There was unusually so many customers with so many orders that it was so busy.

"Shall we go on a date after this, Misaki? I just wanted to have some more time alone with you before i walk you home. It's been a long time too." Usui asked me at the staff room.

"S-sure, i-i guess...it would be...good..." I was stammerring because it was so embarrassing! Goodness, how long has it been since we last went on a date? I'm so happy XD

~Time~

Usui held out his hand and i took it and crossed our fingers. It's really nice to feel someone else's warmth on your hand, especially from someone you like hehe.

We went to buy some hot coffee from the streets and sat down to have a small chat.

"Hey Misaki, are you happy with how things are going right now?" Usui asked.

"Of course i'm happy. I have you, i have my family, i have Maid Latte, what more can i ask for? Why do you ask such an odd question out of nowhere?"

Usui looked down and blushed.

"That's because i'm wondering about our future together..." he smiled gently.

"I was wondering about what i would be doing after i graduate from high school. I want to learn about medicine in college. After that i want to find a job and i...i want to marry you and have a family with you...Ayuzawa."

"For the day i call you Misaki forever without having to say Ayuzawa...i can't wait."

He put his right hand on mine and squeezed it. He leaned in for a kiss.

I squeezed his hand back.

"Of course i want that too. I'll support you on which ever path you decide to walk on. So let's see if our study date paid off for the exams and hope for the best, alright over-thinker?" I smiled.

"Hmm...i wonder about that irony you just mentioned...haha...over-thinker."

I can't help but remember the time i thought Usui forgot to come to the Student Council room and started over-thinking out loud. I blushed and shoved Usui.

"Fine...it happens okay? Haha..."

We chatted a bit more until we finished our coffee and he walked me home.

"See you tomorrow, over-thinker,"

"See you tomorrow, perverted alien," I smiled and walked in the house door.

~Usui's house~

*Closes door*

"Hah...what was i saying just now? Got too ahead of myself..."

Usui covered his eyes and slid down the back of his door. His heart was pumping uncontrollably, blushing like hell.

"Ugh...I should probably tell her about it soon...and introduce her to mum and dad."
