History/Quick backstory: Aerin comes from a wealthy family. Her father was a high ranking soldier until he died in war. Her mother died in childbirth, leaving Aerin an only child. While her father was alive, he encouraged her to pursue her own dreams. When those dreams started to imitate his, he taught her everything she knows. He taught her how to wield a sword, how to win every fight, how to strategize and organize troops. Because she was the child of a high ranking soldier, that meant she had a slightly better chance of becoming a soldier herself. Obviously she still had to prove herself, being female and all. But she proved them all wrong, steadily climbing the ranks until she was a commander like her father had been.
