chapter seven , partners EVERYBODY MOVED ON, I, I STAYED THERE RIGHT WHERE YOU LEFT ME, TAYLOR SWIFT
"we have a new student coming in from a different class today, so mahliyah he will be sitting next to you." my professor explained. i nodded my head, smiling.
i liked having no one next to me, but hopefully this person won't get on my nerves.
i heard the door open. everyone whipped their head towards the door, including me. i couldn't make out who it was, until he faced towards our class. i stared at him, my eyes not going off of him. my breathing started to get uneasy.
it was ethan. he has to be in my class, sitting next to me. the professor explained everything to him. seemed like he had the same reaction when he saw me. he put his bag down and sat next to me.
i couldn't even focus on the gum in my mouth, which always distracts me. i swallowed but forgot the gum was still in my mouth and started coughing, almost swallowing my gum.
"you okay?" ethan asked, putting his hand on my knee. i still was coughing. now i didn't even notice the hand placement. well, until i was done almost seeing the light.
i tensed up when i noticed, i guess he noticed since he removed his hand. "yeah, im fine." i said, looking forward. he nodded, looking forward also.
class was over and i was quick to get up to go to my dorm. i got stopped by ethan.
"there's a party tomorrow night, wanna go?" he asked. "okay, not to sound rude, but i'll go, just not with you." i looked up to him. he pursed his lips together, nodding.
i didn't want any more conversation, so i left the room.
the only time i had to see him again today was at the football game. that's good, right?
