Azur lane base - early morning
it is the break of dawn as majority of the ship girls that had been selected where merged into multiple task forces of different factions to help reduce the total size of the squadrons, the operation had officially stared with a handful of task forces already being sent out earlier, Allen's force who consisted of enterprise, Massachusetts, Agir, Tashkent, Gremyashchy, Le Terrible and Le Triomphant all aboard Gremyashchy's ship where directly headed towards the mainland, multiple air patrol aircraft where going aboard overhead as loud whistling engines could be heard flying about, the speed they were simply cruising at looked too absurd to even be called normal planes however lucky enough they were yet to be spotted mostly thanks to the darkness that still is in place during the very early mornings
Enterprise: should I engage?
Agir: what do you think?
Enterprise raised her bow as Massachusetts gave her a gentle smack to the head
Massachusetts: you will put the commander in harms way unnecessarily, hold off
Enterprise: you didn't have to hit me
Massachusetts: South Dakota said to do that when you are being irrational as it help you listen better
Enterprise: the one time- *sighs* forget it
Allen: I knew this would be pretty crazy but this goes beyond what I expected how many carriers are they operating just in this vicinity and with all this new tech
Le Triomphant: better yet how are we not spotted yet normally we would have been already begun a fight by now with radars being a thing
Allen: I specifically made sure any and all radio communication is cut off as well as all forms of radars to be off for the moment, reason being is the radars although beneficial also shouts out in radio waves I'm here to the enemy if they catch a ping that and well I guess Gremyashchy is our worlds first stealth destroyer *rubs her* head
Gremyashchy: *stares at Allen slightly blushing* creep
the group continued onwards through the patrols however a massive explosion was felt aft of Gremyashchy's ship as she squealed in pain
Allen: Gremy-
Multiple shells began raining down at the group causing multiple smaller shells to hit across her ship causing fires near her aft tunnel sections, knowing where the danger was coming from Agir summoned her ship right in front of Gremyashchy's one to soak up all the damage, as enterprise quickly gripped Allen throwing him towards Agir as she then summoned her riggings turning on her radar it was there she noticed multiple ships approaching rapidly whilst a large force was slowly approaching their location
Enterprise: enemies enterprise engaging
enterprise rushes off alone sending of a handful of aircraft ahead of her
Allen: Massachusetts, le Triomphant and Terrible support enterprise
the group then nods all summoning their riggings following enterprise
Allen: Gremyashchy you alright
Gremyashchy only looked at him for a few seconds with a blank face as she then grabs hold of Allen's wrist taking him towards the fire while Tashkent followed behind trying to help
with enterprise
enterprise had confirmed a handful of her planes were shot down however she did manage to hit a few targets, multiple laser then were fired at enterprise making her begin evasion manoeuvres, out of the blue purifier came from a blind spot to enterprise firing her lasers without room to dodge she braced for impact however Massachusetts came pulling enterprise away from the danger
