Ch 9

A few days pass and I'm feeling a hundred percent better as I get ready to go to practice with Jinhwan and the others. I look at myself in the mirror a little curious at the healthy glow coming from me I actually feeling okay and not miserable with an uncomfortable feeling or reduced appetite. Shaking my head I leave the bathroom and head to the kitchen saying in a soft slightly cheerful voice to Jinhwan who's cooking. "Good morning." He peeks at me before giving a bright smile. "Morning. You seem to be in a good mood." I shrug saying simply. "I'm feeling good. The suppressants and blockers made me feel weird and uncomfortable along with messed up my appetite. Now that I stopped taking them I feel a lot better even though I didn't realize that they were doing that to me." Jinhwan gives me a slightly proud smile. "I'm glad you're feeling better." He then turns and hands me a plate of food I thanking him before eating happily. After a second of silence Jinhwan suddenly asks curiously. "You know I was wondering. Why is your last name Lee but Bobby's is Kim?" I blink before explaining. "My mom and Bobby's mom are sisters so my mom got married to my appa whose last name is Lee." He nods in understanding then checks the time and cringes. "We better get going." I nod and get up putting my empty plate in the sink before following him to the door where we out on our shoes before heading outside. Once we get outside there's a van parked in front of the apartment and I swallow nervously as the van door opens and I see a bunch of guys in the back they all looking at me curiously I unconsciously reaching out for Jinhwan's hand he giving it a reassuring squeeze as he leads us over to the van I shifting nervously as he lets go and gets in so he's sitting beside one of the guys and I slowly get in sitting beside him in the middle. I then carefully close the door before buckling up trying to ignore the stares I feel on me. Once I'm done buckling up I look up at the four other guys I don't know I saying a little shyly. "Hi I'm Bobby's cousin Jude." They all greet me and introduce themselves I trying to commit their names and faces to memory. The driver then starts driving to the entertainment company when Chanwoo speaks up. "So if you're an omega why were you posing as a beta?" I immediately tense up a little and swallow feeling uncomfortable but Jinhwan and Bobby both give the youngest a stern look. "Don't go there. It's obviously a very sensitive topic." Chanwoo apologizes and I give a weak smile as Yunhyeong looks at me curiously. "So are you and hyung mates?" I blush but nod saying shyly. "Yeah we are." Junhoe gives me a slight wary look. "Why did you hide it from hyung if you knew that you were mates?" I shift uncomfortably and Jinhwan gives the younger a glare but he just shrugs. "What? It's a fair question. He lied about being a beta and everything and he hid the fact that you were mates. I wanna know why." I swallow feeling extremely uncomfortable. "Um well my parents aren't really accepting of male omegas. So they've made me pretend to be a beta since the moment I presented because usually male omegas have male mates and they don't believe in homosexuality...." The other's expressions turn sympathetic except for Junhoe who just frowns at me. We then pull up to the company and once the van stops I immediately unbuckle and get out of the van as fast as possible. I watch the others as they get out and I slowly move to Jinhwan's side he gently wrapping an arm around my waist I knowing that he probably feels that I'm upset. We then head inside and to the elevator before we head up to the practice floor I letting Jinhwan guide me to the room where they're practicing. Once we enter I silently move away from the alpha and murmur quietly. "I'll go sit in back." Before he can say anything I head to the back couch and take a seat before pulling my phone out I texting Kyong. Soon I hear music start playing and look up I watching curiously as the guys start practicing I watching in slight awe my gaze mostly staying on Jinhwan. Swallowing a little I watch silently as they go through different routines I immediately noticing that Jinhwan's scent is getting a lot stronger my inner wolf starting to whine with want. I shift a little starting to get a little riled up I waiting until the guys take a break to get up and head over to Jinhwan silently I gently tugging on his shirt sleeve to get his attention he looking at me curiously. I give a shy look murmuring softly. "I'm going to go to the bathroom." He nods telling me where it is and I quietly thank him before leaving the room.

(Jinhwan's Pov)

Watching Jude leave the room I immediately frown at feeling how uncomfortable he feels but I also feel something else coming from him it hard to pinpoint what exactly it is. Shaking my head I look at Junhoe and give him a slight look. "Did you have to question him about something that obviously made him uncomfortable?" He just shrugs at me saying seriously. "I don't trust him hyung he's lied the whole time about his second gender status and everything." I feel a little protective saying firmly. "Yeah but he's basically been mentally abused since he presented. Just think if you presented and your parents forcefully put it in your mind that what you presented as is a sin and forced you to take drugs to hide it even though the drugs made you sick and depressed." He goes quiet at that and my tone softens a little. "Just please give him a chance. He's in an unfamiliar place and barely knows anyone and he's still trying to get used to accepting himself as an omega he doesn't need you judging him on top of everything." Bobby speaks up a little softly. "He's right Junhoe." He sighs and grumbles a little. "Fine I'll stop giving him a hard time but no promises about accepting him." I sigh but take it and turn when I hear the door open I seeing Jude step in quietly I giving him a little reassuring smile. He gives a small smile back to me then shifts a little before making his way over to me and leans up whispering in my ear. "I uh I'm starting to feel weird I think I'll ask the driver to take me home." I frown at him a little worriedly before saying softly. "Do you need me to come with you?" He shakes his head no. "Stay here and practice I'll be fine." I frown about to protest but he gives me a reassuring look. "Don't worry I can handle being by myself for a while. Just focus on practice." I sigh but reluctantly agree and he smiles hesitating for a second before he leans up and kisses my cheek I blinking in surprise but he just blushes and rushes off. As I watch him leave Bobby speaks up curiously. "What was that about?" I look at him and say softly. "He's not feeling well so he's going to go home and rest." Bobby immediately looks a little concerned but I say softly. "He said he's okay just feels a little off. And he doesn't want me missing practice." Bobby slowly nods and we concentrate on practice again I trying to focus and not mess up as it seems to drag on. Finally it ends and we head down to the car where the driver starts dropping everyone off I feeling a little anxious.
