Part 8. The Forest

Y/n: "Hey is it me or.. does it look like the trees are closing in on us?"

Lilium: "Now that you mention it.."

As you and Lilium were riding throughout the forest you noticed that the trees did in fact close in on you however..

Y/n: "Oh wait! Since when did the trees get so big!?"

Yup that's right ladies and gents the trees weren't closing in on you they were growing rapidly making it impossible to go through the forest

Lilium: "Hey uhm..Y/n do you think our horse can go a little faster..?"

Y/n: "I sure hope so."

Both you and Lilium were internally panicking as neither of you knew what to do

Y/n: "Don't you know any magic!?"

Lilium: "I'm a rogue of course I don't know magic!!!"

Y/n: "I thought you'd at least be prepared for something like this when you came in search for it!"

Lilium: "I'm sorry ok!?"

As you both started to panic even more the trees began to grow a mouth

When you turned to Lilium for help she was or rather hanging upside as she was being held up by a huge tree vine

Y/n: "Lilium!"

Lilium: "Y/n!!! You better save me before I fucking kill you!"

While Lilium was quite literally assaulting the tree violently with her dagger by stabbing it's vine repeatedly you looked around for a solution

???: "Stop this at once!"

A strange friendly voice spoke up with but it sounded stern

???: "Hold your attacks! Guardians of the woods!"

Y/n's mind: "woods? But I thought it was supposed to be a forest? Then again I suppose it's all the same in the end is it not?"

???: "You!"

Lilium: "Me?"

???: "Yes youu"

Confused due to her attitude she wasn't talking to you but rather to Lilium she spoke in a more softer and hyped up tone

Lilium: "What do you want? I'm currently trying to fucking survive!"

???: "Hey! Calm down I'll help you out soon but just answer me this"

Y/n's mind: "Am i being ignored?"

Lilium: "Fine! What do you want."

???: "It's just you're really cool and I was hoping to ask if you'd be ok with being friends"

You couldn't see her properly bc of the shadow that was covering her from the trees but you could see she was smiling when she asked Lilium to befriend her

Lilium: "If it means getting out of here yes! I'll be your friend!"

???: "YAY ok here I'll help"

???: "Trees put her down please?"

The trees nodded? And put lilium safely back on the ground

Lilium: "So hey uhm?"

Pixie: "Oh right I'm Pixie!"

Lilium: "Oh well thanks for saving me Pixie "

Pixie: "Mhm! I'm always down to help a friend!"

Lilium: "Oh thanks"
