Annabeth blushed and took the bouquet from Percy's hand. "Thank you, Percy. They're beautiful," she said, a smile spreading across her face.

Percy took her hand and led her inside, closing the door behind them. "I wanted tonight to be special," he said, his voice filled with sincerity. "I've been planning this for a while."

Annabeth looked around the apartment, taking in the candlelit table and the delicious smells coming from the kitchen. "Wow, Percy. You really went all out," she said, her eyes shining with admiration.

Percy grinned, feeling a surge of confidence. "I wanted to show you how much you mean to me, Annabeh, you're the most important person in my life."

As they sat down at the table, Percy served the Lemon Roasted Chicken and they began to eat, their conversation filled with laughter as they talk about old stories from Camp Half-blood.

As they finished their meal, Percy pressed his remote allowing Savage Garden to play Truly Madly Deeply in the background, before he stood up and sank to his knees in front of Annabeth, taking one of her hands in his, the handpicked ring sitting in his other hand as he spoke..

"Annabeth, you and I have been best friends since I was but twelve years old, since then we've seen each other at our worst and at our best, we know each other's flaws, we've been through so much together even traveling through the pits of Tartarus, And now I have called you here tonight, to ask you to embark on yet another quest with me, but this time our quest is to find that next chapter in our lives, the one with you by my side..Annabeth Chase will you take that next step with me, and marry me?"

Annabeth's eyes widened in surprise, her hand covering her mouth. Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked at Percy, her heart overflowing with love and joy. She couldn't believe that the person she had grown up with, the person who had always been there for her, was now asking her to spend the rest of her life with him.

"Oh, Percy," she whispered, her voice filled with emotion. "Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!"

Percy's face broke into a wide grin as he slipped the ring onto Annabeth's finger. The design looked amazing on her just as he had imagined it would.

They both stood up and embraced tightly, their hearts beating as one, knowing that their journey together was just beginning.

As they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, the song playing in the background seemed to capture the depth of their feelings. They swayed gently to the music, lost in the moment, feeling truly, madly, and deeply in love.

"Now comes the difficult task of telling our families. My Dad is totally going to flip." Annabeth joked.

"Honestly, My mom just might to.." Percy grinned.

And then their lips meet in a burst of fiery passion. Percy expecting to still have the house to himself for the night pulled her closer to deepen the kiss, pressing her up against the nearest wall, when suddenly they hear a cough from behind them, and they sprang apart like two toddlers caught with their hands in the cookie jar.

"Mom..Paul..um you're back early.." He stammered

Sally Jackson laughs "Unfortunately our trip got cancelled due to snow storms..hope we weren't interrupting much.."

Annabeth blushed, her cheeks turning a deep shade of red. She quickly composed herself and smiled at Sally and Paul, trying to hide her embarrassment. "No, not at all. We were just... um... enjoying the music," she said, her voice slightly shaky.

Sally chuckled, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Well, it seems like you two were enjoying more than just the music," she teased, causing Percy to turn an even deeper shade of red.

Percy and Annabeth exchanged grateful glances, feeling a sense of relief wash over them. They knew they were lucky to have such supportive and understanding families, but would they understand this particular decision?

Sally looked at the table, noticing the remnants of their romantic dinner. "It looks like you two had a wonderful evening planned," she said, a hint of curiosity in her voice.

Percy nodded, a sheepish smile on his face. "I wanted to make tonight special. I asked Annabeth to marry me," he said, his voice filled with excitement.

Sally's eyes widened, and she let out a gasp of delight. "Oh, Percy! That's wonderful news!" she exclaimed, pulling both Percy and Annabeth into a tight hug. "Congratulations, you two!"

Paul joined in the celebration and says "Honestly, it's about time, the way you two have been lately, I kinda wondered when you two would finally decide to take things further."

The room was filled with laughter and joy as they all shared in the happiness of the moment.

As the evening continued, Percy and Annabeth sat down with Sally and Paul, sharing stories and plans for the future. They talked about their dreams and aspirations, and how they hoped to build a life together.

In that moment, surrounded by love and support, from Percy's mom and stepfather, Percy and Annabeth knew that they were ready for whatever challenges lay ahead. They were ready to embark on their next great adventure, hand in hand, with their families by their side.

And as they looked at each other, their eyes filled with love and excitement, they knew that their journey together was just beginning. With their families' blessings and their hearts full of hope, Percy and Annabeth were ready to take on the world, together.

After awhile they found themselves at the newly cleaned table with a notepad and pen as they slowly start to try and formulate a wedding plan. Mainly and when and where.

"What about having our wedding at the Hoover Dam? The Hoover Dam has a water source if any monster happens by, plus its open to mortals and nobody there would notice a few demigods." Annabeth suggested

Percy smiles as he gazed into her stormy grey eyes, he would give her anything she wanted even if she had suggested getting married in a muddy rain storm.

"You know The Hoover Dam sounds like a dam great idea." Percy agreed

Annabeth cracked a smile at his words chuckling as they wrote this down.
