It's been a week since that happened at the bar. I haven't talked to Paige or Azzi yet, but they try talking to me. Paige has been blowing my phone up with texts and calls but I just won't answer her, not after what she did. I've only told Aubrey and Amari about me liking Paige. The whole team thinks we like each other but after what happened I'm thinking otherwise. Today is a little get together at yet another bar. We have been so busy with practice and games we wanted to have a little fun. I'm getting ready when someone comes in my room, I think it's Aubrey or Amari but I was wrong. It was Paige.
"Hey"she says
I just do a little nod and a fake smile.
"What's been going on with you?"
"What do you mean"
" you haven't been answering me or talking to me, did I do something?"
" do you not realize what you have done?"
"No I don't that's why I'm asking you"
"Omg" I grab my stuff and try walking out the door when Paige grabs me by the waist to stop me from moving anymore.
"You're not leaving till you tell me what's wrong"
"Ugh fine"
She lets go of my waist and stands in front of me waiting for me to talk.
"Do you remember after that night we first went to the bar and I didn't talk to you or azzi after that"
"Yeah"
"Well I was a little jealous"
"Why tho?"
"Because you guys were all up on each other and you just forgot about me"
"What are you trying to say"
"Paige I like you, not like a friend, I like you like you"
"Maddy you could've just said something instead of having me worry why you weren't talking to me"
"Ik I'm sorry but I was just jealous"
"You don't have to be no more"
" why?"
She just keeps looking at me and her eyes flicker from my eyes to my lips.next thing you know she leans in and kisses me. It's not a sloppy kiss it's passionate and nice. She then pulls back.
"Maddy I like you too"
"Really?"
"Yes maddy will you be my girlfriend"
"Ofc" I smile and kiss her one more time.
