Seoyun's POV

"Oh! according to wikihow, you should not talk to them and make it obvious that you're not interested." Hana said.

I furrowed my brows, "but we're classmates, it's almost impossible to just ignore him."

Chaeyeon's eyes lit up, "We can talk for you. You can just write down whatever you want to say to him, and we'll translate it into words." Hana nodded, "That could work."

Just then, Jake came over and he tossed a box of macaroni onto my desk. "I don't want it, you can bring it back." I looked around for a piece of paper.

'No thanks, I have food at home.'

I showed the paper to Hana and she translated it verbally to Jake. "Can't you talk for yourself?" He furrowed his brows as he looked over at me.

"We're her translator because s-" Chaeyeon nudged Hana, "She what? She lost her ability to speak? What is she, Ariel?" He raised a brow.

I was holding in my words as I glared at him, "She's just resting her voice." Chaeyeon said, and Jake chuckled, "You should continue resting your voice, it's refreshing."

Fumes were coming out of my ears, as he walked off with a stride. "He really hates you." Hana said, as she glanced over at Jake.

"He must really like you then." Chaeyeon said, and Hana agreed.

I shoved the box into my bag, before heading out to the carpark. "I'll take my leave." I said, as I waved to Hana and Chaeyeon.

When I got to the carpark, my driver isn't here yet so I sat on the seats. "Seoyun right?" I looked up to see a foreign face.

He sat down next to me with a smile, as he stretched his hand out. "I'm Jongseong, but you can call me Jay." I shook his hand, "I'm Seoyun."

"Everyone knows who you are." He chuckled.

"So what are you doing here?" I asked, "I'm waiting for my driver, he's running late today." I nodded as I looked over at the road to see if I can catch a glimpse of my driver.

"You're in swimming right?" I nodded, "It must be tough to juggle swimming and school work, along with your other events."

I shrugged, "It's fine, I have my personal timetable to follow." Jay nodded, "I have mine too, but I don't really follow them."

"Then why bother having a timetable?" I raised my brows, "My dad forced me to, it's just show for."

Just then, Mr Park pulled up in front of us. He came out and opened the door for me, "Bye Seoyun, nice meeting you." I smiled, "Nice meeting you too Jay."

I got into the car and Mr Park closed the door behind me. "is that your friend?" He asked as he got in, and I shook my head.

"He just approached me when I was waiting." I glanced out of the window and Jay was typing aggressively on his phone.

When I got home, I washed up and changed into a fresh set of clothes before heading downstairs for lunch. I held the box of macaroni in my hand, "Look what I cooked today!" I shoved it in my mom's face as she was using her phone.

She fanned my box away, "Can't you see I'm busy?"

I pursed my lips, as I sat down. "I'm home." A voice said, and instantly my mom's eyes glistened. "Oh! My baby is home?" She rushed to the door.

I turned around, "How's school?" She helped him with his bag pack and he came over to sit next to me, "It's the same everyday."

"What's that?" He pointed at the box of macaroni, "Oh it's just macaroni that I made in school." He looked over at me with a smile, revealing his dimples.

"Can I try?" I nodded, and I opened it for him while he scurried to the kitchen to get a pair of fork.

He came back looking all excited. "I just want to say it's the thought that counts, the taste can be excluded in the rating." He shoved a piece of macaroni into his mouth, and his eyes lit up.

"It's so good!" I furrowed my brows, "Are we eating from the same box?" He handed me the fork and I tried it for myself.

It literally tastes the same as what I've tasted before.

He ended up finishing the whole box of macaroni, and he lied on the chair with a satisfied smile. "Noona is a great chef." He held up a thumbs up.

I chuckled, ruffling his hair. "Lunch is served." Ms Lim served us a plate of noodles, along with some side dishes.

He took a bite of the noodles, "Your macaroni is better." He whispered to me, causing me to chuckle.

Just then, my mom came back into the room. "How is the food, Jungwon?" She sat down, as she stared at him lovingly.

"It's good." He smiled, "That's good."

I looked over at the door, "Is dad coming home soon?" She shrugged, "He may have some golf event to attend to."

"After you guys are done, go up and practice your music after you're done with your work." Jungwon and I nodded, before she disappeared into her room again.

After I'm done, I brought my bowl to the back before heading upstairs. I completed my homework and I laid on my bed with my arms and legs stretched out, while staring at the ceiling.

I've pasted 2 stars stickers on my ceiling to remind me that everything will be fine.

A smile crept up on my face, "This too shall pass." I muttered to myself, before pulling myself out of bed.

I walked over to the violin to the side of my room where my violin was placed, and I begin practicing for hours since I have a performance coming up.

After practicing my violin, I laid back down on my bed to rest. I could feel my eyelids getting heavier and heavier as seconds went by, and I was about to fall asleep when I felt a vibration next to me.

My eyes shot up, and I stretched my hand to grab my phone to check my notification.

'Unknown: Hey Seoyun, it's Jay.'
