In Y/n’s dimly lit apartment, the only light came from the bathroom. The sound of running water echoed from behind the door before coming to a halt.
Y/n: Phew! Now that was refreshing.
Y/n hummed as he dryed his hair with a towel, a quiet sigh then escaping his lips as he stepped out of his bathroom.
Y/n: Well, this is it. The big reunion you’ve been itching for all these years.
He let out another sigh, wrapping the towel around his waist before exiting the bathroom and heading toward his closet.
Y/n: Should I wear something formal or... non-formal? Casual, I guess.
The teen gave a lazy shrug, grabbing his undergarments first, then pulling a pair of pants and a jacket off their hangers. Setting them neatly on his bed, he walked over to a nearby drawer and pulled out a t-shirt.
Y/n: Chili dog shirt never did me any wrong.
He slipped into his clothes, shivering slightly at the discomfort as he pulled on his pants, then threw on his t-shirt and jacket.
Y/n: Yeesh... now that’s chilly.
He shuddred, quickly putting on his sneakers amd headed for the front door, grabbing his keys along the way. With a soft click, he shut and locked the door behind him.
Y/n: Feel that breeze.
Hands stuffed into his jacket pockets, Y/n strolled down the sidewalk as a cool gust swept past him.
Y/n: Gotta love a morning jog.
Y/n yawned and stretched, then slipped into a running stance. A small smirk tugged at his lips before he dashed out of focus, leaving a gust of wind in his wake.
Y/n: WOO HOO!
He weaved effortlessly through the streets, shifting from lane to lane and swiftly dodging oncoming traffic. Taking a sharp left, he high-fived a fellow morning jogger, the two exchanging grins and thumbs-ups before vanishing in opposite directions.
Y/n (Thoughts: Sure hope those little scamps haven’t changed too much. And even if they did—oh well! Still looking forward to it!)
He smiled to himself, lost to his thoughts and memoires—completely oblivious to the car speeding toward him, its horn blaring and snapping him back to reality.
Y/n: Aw crap!
Thinking quickly, he used his momentum to vault over the car—flipping mid-air and sticking the landing. Glancing back, he caught a glimpse of the driver leaning out the window to flip him off as they sped away.
Y/n: ... Yeah, I deserved that.
He muttered under his breath before taking off again—this time making sure to actually watch where he was going.
-Time-Skip-
Y/n finally stepped onto the facility’s campus, his shoes crunching lightly against the pavement as he looked around and let out a low whistle, taking in the rather large plaza and kept lawns, with rows of palm trees swaying in the breeze.
