"Familiarity breeds contempt, my friend. It would seem that the past, future, and worlds in between are destined to meet once again in a most violent fashion" spoke an eerily haunting Celebi.
'You are not wrong, but there are...anomalies. Can you sense them as well?" replied the concerned Guardian of Time, Dialga.
"Yes. What do you think of it? We can't afford not to act this time. We know they won't."
"...You speak of my counterparts, no?" inquired Dialga to Celebi.
"Indeed. If time is affected, then surely space and antimatter are also affected. They know. And they are preparing just as we are."
"Well, in that case, I need to enlist the help of my scouts."
"Indeed. Miriadon and Koriadon can traverse the cycles of time."
"Was that a pun? From you, Celebi?"
"Are you shocked?"
"As you are now, I thought you'd lost your sense of humor."
"But you didn't laugh, Dialga. Not even a chuckle."
"It wasn't that funny, Celebi."
"...You wound me, my friend."
"It'll heal over time."
"...Ha. Ha. Ha. Very funny."
Off in the distance, a disgruntled metallic beetle Pokemon yelled "AND YOU TWO EXPECT ME TO JUST STAY HERE WHILE MIRAI AND KORAI GO OUT AND HAVE ALL THE FUN? YOU GUYS FUCKING SUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!"
Celebi and Dialga glared at each other in mutual disgust.
"We would never do such a thing, my dear Genesect. You have a most important job. While Miriadon accesses the passageway to the future and Koriadon expresses the passageway of the past, we shall whisk you away to the present" explained Dialga.
"Yes, Genesect. There is a particular group whom we'd like you to assist. We would later need to enlist them, so consider this a field examination of their abilities" added Celebi.
Genesect walked over to include himself in the conversation with the time-traveling demi-deities; he was a time-displaced insect Pokemon whose exoskeleton was upgraded with armor and advanced weaponry to face the perils of a dystopian future.
"But why can't I go to the past with Koraidon? I want to see my home and maybe my family?"
"Do you truly wish to face your ancestors as you are now, our dear Genesect? Your speech and appearance alone would send them into a state of panic" replied Celebi.
"So I'll detach my laser cannon and leave it here!"
"Please, Genesect, don't make this difficult. We're giving you a mission. And besides, you will have an opportunity to see your ancestors. It's inevitable, really. Space-time is collapsing."
"And take HiuZo with you. There is someone I would like for her to meet" commanded Dialga.
"Hmm...don't make me wait forever if forever won't be a thing anymore...fine. To their "present", I go. Where is that hag anyway?" goofed a more jovial Genesect, eager to be involved in the upcoming events.
Suddenly a deep, gray fog covered the surrounding area. A cold chill in the air, Genesect soon regretted his words.
"A hag you say" spoke a raspy, sultry tone in the distant fog before eyes glowing a bright red signaled Hisuian Zoroark's signature attack: Bitter Malice.
