...10:54 pm 🌙, Living room, Park Sunghoon's apartment.|
"Riki? Are you okay? Are you sure you don't feel cold?" He questioned, shivering from the cold. Sunghoon got worried for the younger because the weather is very cold these days and he's not wearing anything except for his thin shirt and shorts.
"Sunghoon Hyung, I'm fine. Don't worry for me. I'll never catch a cold. You should worry for yourself instead." Riki replied blankly and went towards the kitchen. Sunghoon sighed in defeat and watched him do whatever he wants instead.
He saw that he was looking for something in the kitchen rack. He got up from his warm spot, the couch, and went to him,
"What're you looking for, Riki?" He asked politely, not understanding him. The younger didn't say anything and continued looking for the object he desired."Riki?...are you looking for food? Then, we have some chips and sodas in the top shelf- uh- right on top of your head-" He tried helping the younger.
"I highly appreciate your kindness, Hyung. But... I'm looking for- ah!-" He saw the object he had desired. A match box. He hurriedly took it and put it inside the left pocket of his shorts and turned around, making his way to the exit.
'Wait....what?....
A match box..???....'
"Don't worry, Hyung. I got what I need. I'll be going outside for a bit." He spoke with a cough in the end. He was getting cold, Sunghoon knew.
"W-wait, Riki, it's late at night. Where are you going? And with a match box- Do you smoke!?" He furrowed his eyebrows. Riki was too young to smoke, even if he's 20. It's horribly bad for his health!"No, Hyung....I don't smoke," That's a relief.
"I...uh...need it for safety reasons, y'know? It's 11:00 now and I'm going outside so....yeah." He saw the clock. He tried to explain to the older but Sunghoon wasn't buying it,
"But why?! Why do you need to go out at this time? Is it important or you don't like my cheap house?" He crossed his arms and pouted.Sunghoon's statement put Riki in great trouble now. How was he going to explain without spoiling anything?
Riki sighed in distress before speaking again, "Hyung...trust me. It's not that I don't like your apartment. It's a very modern one, in fact! And, it has become a habit of mine to go outside at random times- like now."
He stopped before holding the knob of the door, "Please do not worry for me. I'll be fine. And by the time I get back, please Hyung, don't wait for me and go to sleep. Okay?"
He smiled. His significant eye-smile always made Sunghoon awe in defeat, like now. He couldn't help but close his eyes and hold his chest. It was extremely cute.
"Sigh...okay fine...but make sure to give me a call if anything bad happens, okay?! Or else I will not allow you in this house!!! " He spoke like a worried mother, lecturing their child before their playtime. Riki found it funny so he laughed softly,
"Hyung...okay, I'll keep that in mind," He twisted the knob, opening the door halfway through. Before leaving, he took his black coat which was hanging on the clothing stand.
