Chapter 4 Part 2

Chapter 4 Part 2

After a few hours of going over the plan for tomorrow night, Captain dismissed us for the rest of the day. I wanted to get a sense of normalcy, so I headed home to change into my running clothes. 

My apartment was only a block away from the park so I headed there for my routine run. As I walked I could feel a pair of eyes on me, but when I glanced around there wasn't anything out of the ordinary. 

Once I made it to the park I took off into a steady jog. It felt nice being under the shade of the trees with the wind blowing in my face. Its been nearly two weeks since my last run and I couldn't help but feel it after a few minutes. I slowed into a walk so I didn't pull any muscles and decided to stretch before continuing my jog. I bent down to touch my toes and heard a low purring noise. My body responded by heating up in pleasure which was very odd. I lifted myself up and turned around towards the noise. My eyes came in contact with a pair of golden ones on a very handsome familiar face. 

"Fancy seeing you here." The man from Starbucks said in a husky voice that caused my body to surge with desire. 

"Y.. yeah." I said stuttering which caused him to smile that breathtaking smile.

"My name is Alec, and whom might you be?" He asked holding out his hand.

"I'm Victoria. It's nice to meet you." I answered and grabbed his hand to shake, only he grabbed it and brushed his lips against my knuckles. I clenched my thighs together at the sensation. My whole body felt like it was on fire just from that one touch.

"Mmm, lovely name for such a beautiful being." He told me causing me to blush.

"Umm thanks." I said and removed my hand from his causing a feeling of emptiness in me. I didn't understand these feelings that I was having regarding someone I just met. 

"It's no problem. Would you mind if I accompanied you on your run?" Alec asked me with a warm smile on his face.

"Sure why not. That is, if you can keep up." I said smiling mischievously and took off running leaving him behind.

 Alec's POV

After the initial shock of her taking off and having dirty thoughts of her and that damn smile, I took off after her. I couldn't help but watch her firm behind and long lean legs as she ran in front of me. I knew I could catch up to her instantly but I decided the view was worth the loss. A few minutes later I had my fill of watching her from behind for now and ran next to her. Victoria looked over at me and smiled a heart stopping smile causing me to miss a step and tumble down on the cement. 

I heard her gasp and the next second she was standing over me as I clutched my forehead. Wow I don't think I've ever been this ungraceful before. I mean I'm the King of were leopards for Christ's sake. My mate was looking all over my body for injuries, running her hands over my legs and arms. I couldn't control the purr that slipped out causing her head to snap up to look at me. 

"I'm fine I just hit my head." I told her still holding my head. She carefully moved my hand away from my head to  look at the small cut I had on my forehead now. It had healed almost instantly but I willed it not to heal completely since she would question the small amount of blood. 

"Are you sure you're okay? You don't have a concussion or anything do you? Oh my god I am so sorry!" She was being frantic so I grabbed her face with both hands and kissed her delectable lips softly. She shut up instantly and closed her eyes, I pulled away after a few seconds reluctantly. Her eyes were still closed so I took the time to study her face up close and personal. 

She had long eyelashes that brushed against her cheeks, a small button nose and cute freckles spread across it that I hadn't noticed before. Her eyes opened and they were a bright green color that was lit with an unknown emotion. "Sorry I just didn't know how else to get you to calm down. " I muttered sheepishly.

She cleared her throat. "No it's fine I was being overly concerned since you appear fine." I nodded and looked away. A moment of silence passed with just the two of us sitting on the ground next to each other. "Alec." I heard her say my name softly causing me to turn quickly to her. She caught me off guard by smashing her lips to mine. I groaned in pleasure as her tongue licked my bottom lip asking for entrance. I granted it quickly but took control of the kiss by pulling her in my lap, which caused her to gasp. Our kiss was the most intense I have ever had as I couldn't get enough of her taste and she the same it seemed. I pulled her hair out of the ponytail and sunk my hands in her soft brown hair, massaging her scalp. She moaned into my lips making me growl lightly, it was the sexiest sound I've ever heard. 

I probably would have taken her right then and there, but someone cleared their throat causing us to break apart gasping for air. It was a mother and her two kids whom she was trying to hide their faces from the scene. Victoria buried her face into my chest in embarrassment.  I wrapped my arms around her back and pulled her closer to me. 

"I apologize ma'am, we have forgotten where we are." I told the lady who just turned her nose up and walked away without a word. 

"Is she gone?" Victoria asked me quietly peeking up at me. 

I smiled softly at her and nodded. She pushed herself gently away from me,  so I unwrapped my arms from around her to give her some space. When I saw her kiss swollen lips I couldn't help but to think of them on mine and I could feel my eyes darken. When she glanced at me and recognized the lust on my face she bit her lip causing me to groan. "Please don't do that little one, or we'll have to continue right now."

She gulped and released her lip "I'm sorry I don't know what came over me. I'm not usually so forward."

I chuckled softly. "There is absolutely no need for an apology. That was the best kiss of my life. And as for what came over you I can explain it to you. Would you like to have dinner with me tonight at seven?"

She smiled up at me since I was a good foot taller than her even sitting down. "I would like that very much. You can pick me up at my place, it's just a block away from here."

"Sure thing, so can I get your number?" I asked her thinking I should have asked her that before having an intense make out. I took my phone out of my pocket and gave it to her. She sent a text message to her phone after saving her number in my contacts. When I looked at the name she saved her number under I laughed. "Oh so you really think you're Ms. Hotstuff do you?" 

She giggled and stood up. "Yes, yes I do Mr. Hotstuff." She said with a wink and started jogging away.

I watched her leave with a smile on my face. "Until tonight Ms. Hotstuff!" I yelled after her. 

She turned around so she was jogging backwards. There was a huge smile on her face that caused my heart to warm knowing I had put it there. "I'll be waiting Mr. Hotstuff!"
