The last few days were all the same. Every day walking home after school on the same corner they would be waiting for him. Tawan, Dew and Day. His bullies. Porchay had no idea why they did this but he hated it. The pushing, the pulling, the stealing his money. He felt so powerless. Today he decided to try walking another route. So instead of the front doors of the school he took the back exit that led to the football field. Crossing the fields he took the gravel path through a part of the woods. With a quick pace he passed the well-known trees and picnic table where he would hang out during his breaks. After 5 minutes he finally reached the end of the gravel path crossing the street. It would take him way longer to get home but he didn't care. Everything was better than facing those assholes. The text notification of his phone sounded so he took his phone out of his pockets.

Where are you freak? Hasn't anyone told you it rude to keep people wating? You think you can avoid us? You are going to pay for this!

Chay gulped looking at his phone. How did they get his number? Porchay started to panic thinking what they would do next. Tears burning in his eyes. Chay was all absorbed in thoughts and his phone not noticing the figure in front of him.

"Watch where you're going will you?"

Chay his head shot up ready to apologise but his breath got stuck in his throat seeing who it was. P'Kim. The schools bad boy who everyone looks up to just as much as they fear him. And he also happens to be his long time crush. "P-p-p- P'Kim! S-s- sorry! I didn't see you. S-sorry!" Bowing his head. Suddenly his chin was lifted up "This doesn't look like the fastest or safest way to go home" Kim asked looking at the younger boy. "I-I wanted to take a detour" Chay stuttered. Kim raised his eyebrow seeing straight through the lie. Chay got even more nervous because of Kim staring at him, still with Chay his chin between his fingers. "Are you going to tell me the truth?" "P'Kim it's n-nothing" Porchay lied again. "So it's not that you are trying to avoid Tawan, Day and Dew? They were looking for you. Should I tell them you are here?" Chay his blood ran cold. He shook his head so hard his neck hurt "No please don't call them Phi!" Porchay practically begged him. Kim smirked "Bingo, got you" Kim his face turned serious "So it's them?". Chay nodded slowly. "If I walk this way I hope they won't find me, at least today. But I guess I only made them more angry" Chay showed Kim the text one of them just send. Kim gritted his teeth. "Those bastards need to be taught a lesson" "I'd rather just stay alive P'Kim" Porchay said softly. Kim gave him a soft smile. "I'll walk you home, come" and he pushed Porchay forward. A sudden realisation hit Chay "You know where I live? You know this is not my normal way home!" Kim let out a laugh "Yes I do" "How?" "That's a secret, shhh" Kim put his finger to his lip. "Stalker much?" Chay scoffed. Again Kim let out a laugh. Porchay loved the sound "What if I am little one?" Chay chocked on his saliva when he heard the 'Little one' comment. "Maybe it's better to go the other way and face that asshole trio" Chay mumbled. Throwing his head back in laughter Kim slung his arm around Chay. "Oh no you won't baby boy, I won't let you" Chay let out a weird sound that he didn't know he could make.

Right before reaching Porchay his house he pulled on Kim his sleeve. "Why are you so nice to me?" "Did you assume I'm not nice? I mean yeah I get in fights and stuff but not with innocent souls like yours" and he tapped Chay his nose with one of his fingers. Chay scrunched his nose "I don't know. We never really talked and all I saw or heard about were the fights" Kim smiled bringing his face closer to Chay his face. "That's because you ran away every time I came near you. Sadly enough" "W-w-what? I-I didn't- Okay maybe I did but you are scary" Chay pouted. Kim grinned "You have no idea baby boy" He quickly pecked Chay on his cheek and stepped back. "See you tomorrow Porchay" and Kim walked away. Chay stood there nailed to the ground. Did he just kiss his cheek? He did didn't he? Wait... "HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME?" Chay yelled after the older boy. Kim turned around and again put his finger to his lips "A SECRET" And Chay rolled his eyes.
