Thirty minutes later Lucci emerges from the dark forest now in his human form. His face is covered in blood and he carries two severed hands and a heart. Starry looks up at him with her ears down as he tosses Ohmas's hands at her feet and holds his heart out to her. "For you." He says as he hands the heart to her. She watches him carefully as he stands in front of her, his expression stoic and unreadable as he stares at her. She chews the flesh in her mouth slowly and swallows before opening her mouth to speak but she's quickly interrupted by Lucci, his voice cold and flat as he speaks. "You refused to call for my help even when you were in trouble. What were you thinking?" He demands harshly as he crosses his arms over his chest and frowns at her. She glances away and bites her lip, unsure of how to answer. She knows that he won't be happy with anything she says but she tries anyway. "I thought I could handle it Lucci a-and when I got caught I couldn't call for you." Starry tries to explain only for Lucci's expression to darken dangerously as he glares at her. She swallows the piece of flesh in her mouth hard and takes a step back as Lucci approaches her. She gasps when he grabs her wrist and yanks her against him with a growl. Her ears lower and her tail wraps around her leg as she tries to pull away from her mate.

"Why didn't you call for me? I could have helped you!" he demands as he continues to glare at her. His grip tightens around her wrist as she tries to pull away from him, his gaze piercing into her as he stares down at her. Her ears flatten and her tail wraps tightly around her leg as she avoids looking at him. "You know as well as I do what those two planned to do to you. I would have torn them apart." His voice drops an octave as he growls out those last words. His expression darkens further and his grip on her wrist tightens as he continues to stare at her, his grey eyes boring into her green ones. She winces at the tight grip he has on her wrist but doesn't fight him as he pulls her against him. Her breathing becomes shallow as he leans closer, his hot breath ghosting over her lips as he whispers against her ear. "I would have done worse than just kill them... I would have made them suffer... I would have torn them limb from limb, then I would have ripped their flesh off and made them eat it." He breathes against her ear. She whimpers softly as she closes her eyes and tilts her head away from him. Her breath hitches in her throat as she feels his teeth graze her skin, his breath hot against her ear as he growls lowly. "You should know better than to put yourself in that position... now, let's go." He whispers before pulling away from her, his grip loosening on her wrist as he lets her go.

She opens her eyes and looks at him as he starts to walk away from her. She blinks and shakes her head before following him back to the ship, her tail swishing back and forth behind her as she catches up with him. The walk back to the hotel is a quiet one as neither of them says a word to each other. Starry occasionally glances at Lucci seeing his jaw clenched with his bloody hands in his pockets. It's so late that there is no one out on the streets to see the two agents that are covered in blood. To avoid the hotel clerk they simply use geppo to reach their balcony and go into their room. Lucci walks into the bathroom to take a shower and clean the blood from his body. Once she finishes Starry goes and does the same while thinking to herself in the shower. Lucci isn't the most talkative man but it was clear that he was pissed off at her still. The next day the two set sail with their target in tow. Starry has been avoiding Lucci all morning and she keeps catching him glaring at her whenever she does so. When the sun is high in the sky she sighs and heads below deck to their cabin to relax for a bit. She sits on her bed and leans back on her elbows as she stares at the ceiling and wonders what to do. She knew she had really fucked up big time when she didn't call for Lucci's help when she was outnumbered. The thing is Starry had gotten too deep into her feral instincts that she lost control. Her ears perk up and twitch as she hears the door to the cabin open. She turns and looks to see Lucci standing in the doorway looking at her with a neutral expression. "You and I need to have a talk when we arrive back at Eneis lobby. Until then don't speak to me." He states and leaves the room. Starry's ears flatten and she hangs her head with a sigh. This wasn't going to end well for her.
