The next morning Starry wakes up still feeling a bit under the weather. She doesn't really remember too much from yesterday other than feeling like shit and crawling into bed. She sniffles softly and can smell a familiar scent on her... Lucci... Starry looks over towards her desk and sees him leaning back reading over some papers. Her cheeks tint pink as she vaguely remembers a fever dream of him. One that was quite lewd and involved him being in between her thighs. She dismisses it from her mind and assumes she smells like him because he's been probably taking care of her. "Morning boss..." She says softly with a hoarse voice and clears her throat.

"Morning Starry, how are you feeling?" He asks, glancing at her and smiling slightly. His eyes linger on her lips before moving back up to her eyes, studying her features intently as he waits for her to answer. He takes note of her flushed cheeks and her voice is a bit raspy, her nose is red and her eyes are watery. She's obviously still not well and he can tell that she's in no condition to leave her bed. But he knows better than to tell her that. She's stubborn and refuses to take care of herself unless someone forces her to. So he'll have to be careful about this. He can't have her overexerting herself, it would only make her condition worse and then he'd have to take more drastic measures. "You sound terrible." He states bluntly as he continues looking over his paperwork, pretending to be engrossed in it while secretly watching her out of the corner of his eye. Lucci stands up and walks over to her bedside table, picking up a bottle of cough syrup and shaking it slightly. The liquid sloshes around in the bottle as he holds it up to his ear and shakes it again. "Looks like you're out of medicine Starry." He says as he turns towards her and walks back over to the bed. He places the back of his hand against her forehead and hums thoughtfully as he feels her temperature. She's still hot but the fever seems to have gone down some, hopefully meaning that the medicine has been working.

Starry closes her eyes and slightly leans into his touch, enjoying the feeling of his cool hand against her heated skin. She purrs softly with her ears lowered and her tail lying on her legs. When he pulls away she opens her eyes and looks up at his stoney face while he opens the cough meds to see how much is left. "It's ok Lucci I can handle it from here. Have you been here taking care of me?" She asks. "Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. You still need to rest and get better. I'll be here to take care of you until you're feeling better." He says reassuringly as he pours some medicine into a small measuring cup and hands it to her. She takes it from him and swallows the contents, grimacing at the taste and making a face as she sticks her tongue out. "Now get some rest, I'll wake you up in a few hours to give you more medicine." He says as he watches her give him a defiant look and softly pout. "I appreciate you taking care of me Lucci but I'm sure you have other things you'd rather be doing. it's my own dumbass fault for getting that drunk and going out into that weather. I can handle it from here or ask one of the others for help." She argues and watches him cross his arms as she moves the blankets off of her and stands up from her bed.

He raises an eyebrow as he watches her try to walk past him and place his hand on her shoulder. He can't have her wandering off while sick, that wouldn't do at all. She'll just have to listen to him, that's all there is to it. "No, you need to rest. Now get back into bed before I put you there myself," he warns her sternly as he looks down at her with a slight frown on his face. He's not messing around and she can tell from the look in his eyes that he means business. 'No...' She thinks to herself as she huffs and crosses her arms, staring up at him defiantly as she stands her ground. "Starry..." He growls out in warning and gives her one last chance to obey him before things get out of hand. "Get back in bed. Now." He says firmly, his tone brokering no argument as he stares at her. "No. I need to take a shower and get some food plus I have work to do. I'm fine." She says and moves to walk around Lucci only for him to sidestep and block her path. Starry huffs and looks up at the raven haired man as he glares down at her, her gaze never breaking from his.
