Giovanna-
"Dominic stop it. I don't care if you have to stay longer, that's fine, but it's like, when's the last time we've seen each other?" Giovanna asked.
Dominic and Giovanna are finally speaking after not texting, or calling for almost a month... and what do you expect from a couple who haven't talked for almost a month... an argument.
"I don't know Gio, but there's nothing I can do about that right now. Sam needs us all to stay longer to finish up some more scenes... it's not like I can just say 'no' to him, that's not how this works." Dominic sighed on the other side of the phone.
"Stop talking to me like I'm stupid Dominic, 'cause I'm not. I know that you can't say 'no' to him, but I also know that you can ask him for a tiny break to come and see your girlfriend who you haven't seen in almost a year. I came down here just for you, and all of a sudden Sam wants you to stay longer... It's fucking stupid." Giovanna shouted in her hotel room.
"Okay, Gio," Dominic said plainly.
"What the fuck... no way you're trying to get mad at me right now. You have no right to be mad at me, you didn't waste your money on a plane ticket and hotel room... I did so, stop."
"Okay, Gio." Dominic repeated in the same tone.
Dominic saying this ended with Giovanna hanging up on him, and him calling right back. Giovanna answered reluctantly.
"Don't hang up on me Giovanna," Dominic told her, sounding aggravated.
"Dude, are you doing drugs again? cause what the fuck is wrong with you?" Giovanna asks angered, getting annoyed with her boyfriend's words.
"What." Dominic shutters.
You could almost hear his nervousness through the phone.
"Are the 'prop' drugs y'all use on that show real, cause what is wrong with you?"
"Why would you even ask me that? Of course, they aren't real Giovanna... don't be dumb." Dominic laughs nervously.
The silence went through both sides of the phone. Alex, Dominic's brother, winced hearing Dominic saying 'Don't be dumb' to Giovanna, knowing damn well that Gio doesn't like being called dumb, because she was far from it.
Giovanna was silent, tears threatening to spill. This was a prime example of her knowing that they weren't going to last much longer.
"Okay, Dominic," Gio whispered, hardly getting heard by the man on the other side of the phone.
"What?" Dominic asked her confused.
"Okay, it's fine, take your time, I'm just gonna go back home," Gio told him.
Dominic sighed with happiness, as a smile slowly crept onto his face. He then turned on actor-mode.
"What? No, Gio stop it, you're not going back home. Just... just let me talk to Sam and see what I can do. Please, just wait for me." Dominic pleaded.
And wait is what Giovanna did. She stayed for a week and a half, and didn't see Dominic not once. And when she told him that she was going to leave he said the same thing, "Please, just wait for me.", but this time... Giovanna wasn't having it, and went back to New York, where she resided.
