I look up and, through the blur of the water, see Blake swimming down towards me in his swim trunks. He has pretty nice abs...not that I care. I realize he's getting closer to me and know he's going to drag me to the surface. Nope, not going to talk to him. I don't know if he's going to be weird or nice. And I don't want to talk to him. I'm just going to stick to my plan of Ninja Spy. I glare at him before swimming away.

I come up for a breath of air and hear him say, "Blayke!" before going back underwater. I start swimming towards the shallow. Turning around under water, I see he's not to far behind me. Crap. I'm either going to have to get out and listen to him try to speak to me. Or try to swim around him. I decide to quickly get out and jump into the deep end. He's in the shallow now, too. All I have to do is run up the steps and jump back into the pool.

I come to the surface and frantically swim towards the steps. I get to them and run up them.

"Blayke! I want to talk to you," Blake yells as I run to deep end.

"I don't want to talk to you," I yell back.

I go to jump but slip and hit my head on the side of the pool. I immediately clutch my head in pain as I sink to the bottom of the pool. My head is pounding. I go to take a breath and suck in water. Immediately, I cough it out. I don't think I'll be able to swim back up to the surface.

I'm going to die. It's as simple as that.

With my arms still wrapped around my head, I close my eyes. My head and lungs scream and protest but I'm too tired to care. A second later, I feel someone's arm around my waist, pulling my upward. Sluggishly, I open my eyes and see Blake hauling me up towards the surface.

"Crap. Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap," he mutters as he pulls me up a ladder.

"Go away," I moan half-heartedly as tears stream down my face.

"No can do," he says scooping me up into his arms bridal style.

I groan and burry my face in his chest, all thoughts of not wanting to talk to him forgotten. I hear him running. A small part of my mind thinks he better not drop me while the rest is screaming in pain. After a couple seconds, I hear music. It makes my head scream even more.

"MATT! MATT! ATLANTA! DYLAN!" he screams their names.

Okay, Blake. I know you're trying to help me but...you aren't helping me. YOU'RE MAKING IT WORSE! I moan in pain and half-heartedly punch his chest.

"What was that for?" he screams.

I punch him again. Hopefully, he'll get the message.

He doesn't.

"MATT!" he yells my brothers name and I groan.

I feel us walking again and the music seems to disappear.

"What's the matter?" I hear my brother ask.

"I think she hit her head on the side of the pool," Blake says really fast.

"She wasn't in the pool," Matt scoffs.

"There's more than one," Blake says, sounding panicked.

"You two were in a pool room together?" Matt asks and I know he's raising an eyebrow.

"Not the point! Matt! She's hurt," Blake yells.

I let out a whimper. That seems to bring my brother back to reality.

"BLT? Can you hear me?" he asks.

I whimper in response.

"We need to inspect where she hit her head," Blake says.
