Kai, Worried about Riko's safety, He would always protect Riko evrywhere they go, not letting people go anywhere near Riko thinking that the people are affected by the disease.
'What's up with him..? Why is he suddenly so protective..?' The question filled Riko's mind, wondering why did Kai suddely get to protective.
A few months later in the disease.
Riko still didnt know about it, Kai was slowly starting to get affected by it, As he was always trembling.
Riko got worried about Kai trembling every minute.
"Kai, Why are you trembling? Is something bothering you?" Riko asked softly as he held Kai's hand
"I-its nothing, Riko. Just dont mind it, this usually happens." Kai answered, not batting a single eye at Riko making Riko more worried and concerned
"If you say so.." Riko murmured as he was still worried about Kai.
Soon, Kai started coughing uncontrollably, Riko was buying stuft and so, Kai ran to the nearest bathroom stall
Bursting in a stall, He suddemly threw up blood, But along with.. Flowers?
This was unusual for Kai, he was quite concerned himself, But he decided to shrug it off and not bother, flushing it down the toilet, he got out the stall, washing his hands and mouth before leaving
"Kai! There you are! I was worried were you could've gone.." Riko exclaimed
"You shouldnt run away like that! You might get lost you know?!" Riko complained as he looked at Kai worriedly and concerned.
"I-i just had to do some business.. No worries." Kai answered calmly, trying to get out of the situation.
Riko was really concerned, Kai was usually energetic and cheerful, But now he's silent and cold..
They both continued walking back to their homes after the night out.
Soon, they reached their homes, wavi ng goodbye to eachoher as they went into their house.
Both their parents were already asleep upstairs, Riko decided to watch the news.
Riko's eyes widened after seeing the news, the disease has been discovered which were called 'Hanahaki disease'.
Riko got worried about his family and friends safety, but he knew he couldnt do anything about it at all, knowing he is just a teenager.
Riko sighed, going to his room upstairs, closing the door.
Riko went over to his bed, laying down and going under the covers.
'I hope they find a cure..' Riko thought to himself as he slowly drifted into his slumber.
