A few weeks later

The disease got stronger, it affected alot of people including Kai.

One day, At the morning, Kai was found unconcious on his bed with his mouth full of blood and flowers, the parents immediately took him to the hospital as Riko also went to the hospital with Kai's parents, The three of them were completely worried about Kai.

The doctors have told the parents that Kai had been affected with the disease called "Hanahaki Disease", Which technically where a flower in the lungs of the affected person, making them struggle to breath or make them throw up flowers.

The parents and Riko were completely were devastated as the parents started tearing up as they wiped their tears with a tissue, but Riko was looking down on the floor, Holding back his tears.

"C-..Can i see him..?" Riko asked the doctors, and they nodded and made way for Riko to go to Kai's room, Riko's shoes slammed against the floor as he walked towards Kai's hospital room

Opening the door, seeing Kai unconcious with a heart and lung moniter beside his hospital bed

He went over beside Kai beside the bed, gently holding Kai's hand as he started tearing, His eyes flowing with much tears.

"W-why didn't you tell me sooner.." Riko murmured as he looked at Kai's unconcious body, Making his eyes flow with much more tears than before, Thinking about how he'll lose his childhood bestfriend.

Soon, Riko was sitting on a chair beside the hospital bed where Kai is layed at, Riko was still in Denial, Thinking he would lose his Childhood friend, who he had also had a crush on before.

Riko got up from is chair leaving the room as he made way to the bathroom, turning to the right and to the bathroom, He goes inside the males bathroom and going in one of the stalls to do his business.

After that, he flushed the toilet and then unlocked the door making a slight creak sound as he opened the door and went over to the sink to wash his hands and fixing his hair.

He walks over to the hospital room of Kai, only to get blocked by the doctors, only for them to tell that Kai was slowly dying and needed operation, Riko went into tears after hearing what was happening.

Still in tears, he went over to one of those metal benches in the hospital just outside Kai's room, sitting on one of them as Kai's parents were also in denial and were crying on the next bench from Riko.

After a while, the doctors came out, as they look devastated, Saying the operation wasnt succesful but he will die in a few minutes, The three of them gets some alone time with Kai.

Riko got the parents to go first, soon, The parents got out crying, it was Riko's turn as he went inside the hospital room, slamming the door shut as he walked over to Kai who was laying on the Hospital bed.

Riko teared up even more as he saw Kai in a situation he didnt want him to be in.

"K-kai.." Riko murmured as he went over and sat on a chair next to the hospital bed.

"Why didnt you tell us before this happened.." Riko asked Kai, Knowing he had a few minutes left, Kai got silent as he looked at Riko.

"I was scared t-..that you guys will judge me.." Kai answered as he looked away.

"J-judge?! How will we judge you? This disease is serious, W-we wont even judge you, Its a disease were dealing with." Riko answered again, As he looked at the eyes of Kai.

"I-i know but.. Im sorry.." Kai apologized as he also started tearing up.

"But i have something to say." Kai said, Riko waited for what Kai was about to say.

"Riko.." Kai murmured

"I loved you since the start, Riko. You were always there for me whenever i was in trouble, I had no idea how to repay back." Kai confessed as he looked up at Riko, Riko started tearing up even more.

"If we could be reincarnated, the first thing i wold try to find, Is you, Riko." Said by Kai, Riko teared even more as he heard the heart moniter beep as Kai's eyes closed.

The doctors immediately rushed in, making Riko go outside as he started crying much more hearing Kai's confession, It was already too late.
