a small wail came from ivy's room, waking both taylor and travis.
"ill get her" a tired mumble came from the other side of the bed.
travis stood up and slipped on his slippers that stood and on the floor.
" okay " taylor whispered, snuggling closer into the blankets.
" hey baby girl, why you so upset? " travis cooed as ivy cried.
travis picked up ivy, and patted her back. " oh darling"
travis cooed, and turned on the sound machine.
ivy started to calm down, with small whimpers falling from her lips.
" good girl, darling"
travis layed ivy down on her changing table, and changed her nappy, and put her in a new outfit.
travis turned off the sound machine and flicked off the light, walking across the hall and into travis and taylor's room.
"hi, gorgeous!" taylor cooed, sitting up and flicking on the light on her bedside table.
ivy cooed, as travis handed her to taylor, letting out small giggles and kisses kicking her feet.
"oh, someone is happy today, huh?" taylor smiled, tickling ivy's stomach, after she pulled her legs up and putting ivy on them.
"shall we listen to some christmas songs, baby?"
ivy smiled, and giggled showing off her gums.
"ill take that as a yes" taylor hummed, turning on her phone and clicking on spotify, putting on her christmas songs playlist.
"snow is falling all around you" travis sang from in the closet.
"children playing" taylor continued, making ivy giggling.
taylor moved off the bed, ivy sitting on her hip.
bouncing up and down, listening to her mommy sing, her favorite sound in the world.
"do you like mommy singing, ivy?" travis cooed, tickling ivy's cheeks, getting a goofy smile from ivy and a soft squeal.
