The day, being full of excitement and waiting, passed by surprisingly quick. It was already the end of Han's shift, he wasn't expecting anymore clients, so he was changing in the staff room. There wasn't anything special in his outfit, he had blue jeans and a soft white sweater on. He was looking in the mirror, touching up his hair, when one of his colleagues walked in.
-Hey, Jisung-ah, I'm here for my night shift.
-Hi, Jeongin!
-You look happy today, getting ready to go somewhere?
-Uh..., - his cheeks burned at the question, as he remembered where he was going, - Yes, actually...
-Is someone going on a date?, - the younger grinned slyly, purposely teasing the other.
-Yaa-ah stop it... Yes, I am. And you're not making me feel any better about it.
-Ah, don't be nervous. I'm sure that everything will be fine.
-I really hope so.They exchanged smiles, before Jisung took his stuff and walked out, saying goodbye. He headed towards the entrance, already seeing the familiar car outside. The boy took a deep breath in, smiling brightly at the man, who was standing next to the vehicle, ready to take his bag.
-Hi.., - Han said shyly, greeting the other.
-Hello, Dr.Han, - he flashed a smile, not being nervous almost at all.
-Let's quit the formalities. Please. Call me Jisung.
-Alright, Jisung. You can call me Minho. Or hyung. Or Minho-hyung, whatever you prefer, - the older laughed slightly. He took the bag from Han's hands putting it away. He then walked around to open the passenger door for his date, the one smiled at him softly, a blush starting to form on his cheeks.
They started driving. The sun was preparing to set, the glass walls of skyscrapers reflecting the warm rays.
-Where are we going?, - Jisung asked, turning his head curiously.
-It's a secret, - the other smirked, - Though I have a feeling you'll like it.
-But I want to know..., - the younger whined.
-You'll see in a couple of minutes. We're almost there.
-Okay..The rest of the ride was silent, yet pleasant. At last they stopped in front of a small cute building, that was glowing subtly.
Minho walked out, opening the door for Han. They approached the entrance, Jisung finally realising what was special about this cafe. It was a cat cafe. The fluffy creatures were all over the place, on the couches, on the tables, on the floor. The younger's eyes grew wide and glistened with joy.
-This is a cat cafe!, - he said happily.
-Exactly. Have you been to one before?
-No, but I've always wanted to... I love cats with my whole heart.
-Great, that means I wasn't wrong with my assumptions, - the older smiled. They walked inside, Jisung's breath stopping in his lungs. A few kittens had already leaned against his leg, while they walked towards their table.
The two made an order, Minho started a small dialogue. Han felt himself relaxing with every minute, the talk flowing on its own now. The cats were walking around, purring and meowing sounding constantly at the back.
One of the cats hopped onto Minho's lap. The one smiled and patted the little head.
-They like you, - Jisung concluded.
-Yeah, and I love them too.
-Cats are very sensitive creatures, they feel that you're safe.
-Do you feel that I'm safe too?, - the older looked up.That left Han flustered, he wasn't expecting his words being used against him that way.
Minho just smiled, picking up the kitten. He stretched his hands out, handing the fluffy baby to the younger.-Here, try holding it.
Jisung accepted the cat into his arms, trying to be as gentle as possible. He chuckled, as the cat leaned into his touch. The man couldn't help but feel warmth bloom in his chest. He took out his phone to capture the moment.
-Are you going to take a picture?, - the boy inquired.
-Yes. I want to set the two kittens as my wallpaper.
-Huh..? There's only one cat..?
-You're the second one, Jisung-ah.
-Oh.., - his cheeks flushed, as a little smile creeped on his face and butterflies fluttered in his stomach.Minho grinned contentedly. He was happy to finally be here with the other. He had never caught feelings for anyone, it felt so nice to know his heart at last belonged to someone.
He stared at Han, his heartbeat calm, yet full of joy.The evening went as perfect as they have imagined. Just the two of them, talking about their lives, accompanied by fluffy little ones.
At the end of the day Minho insisted to drive Jisung home, so now they were again in the car, talking comfortably.
-Please, give me your phone number, so I won't have to visit the clinic once again to see you.
-Sure, let me write it down, - the other laughs softly. They arrived at the entrance of the house. Minho, of course, opened the door and handed Han his bag. They stood there for a moment, just looking into each other's eyes, smiling.
-Goodbye?, - the older started.
-Thank you for the date, it was really a pleasure.
-Thank you for coming.
-Bye.., - he waved his hand, wanting to walk away, - Have a nice night! The man contemplated, not knowing whether he should do as he feels or hold back. He had made a decision at the last moment.
-Wait! Jisung-ah!
The one turned around, not understanding why the other was calling for him. Minho walked closer and pulled him into a gentle hug. The younger grinned, wrapping his hands around the man's torso tightly.
A few moments later they detangled from the hug, smiling and blushing.
-Now you can go.
Han just chuckled slightly, before heading to his home. The older watched him disappear in the elevator, going back to his car after. He felt like giggling and kicking his feet. He was experiencing such things for the first time. Though he liked it very much.

A/n: planned to post this yesterday, but forgot to!It's so hard to choose between soft cute fluff and something more spicy, I still haven't figured out my favourite genre after months of writing and years of reading🥹
