A/n: hey there, it's been a while since my last update, and I'm super sorry for that! I've been exhausted with school and with my toxic relationship🫠 But now that I'm free and no one's stopping me from writing stories (my ex didn't support my hobby🤫), I'll try to update more often!
The story took a long time to complete, because I've lost my talent for quick good quality content...
Enjoy!🫶

Han Jisung is a sweet young man, who, despite his age, had already achieved a lot in his life's bucket list. He works for a successful company "SoonDoongDo" as a head of the marketing department. It pays him well, more than enough to keep both himself and his daughter comfortable. Yes, he has a daughter. Yes, he's a single father.
It happens, he wasn't mad or upset at the girl, that left him with a kid in his early twenties. Han was happy to be a father, though sometimes it was hard. At least it was definitely not easy to keep it a secret, that you have a child.

Lee Minho was the company's CEO. He's a very polite and intelligent gentleman, who happens to have a soft spot for one of his employees. The older tried to hide and deny it at first, but now he's approaching Jisung step by step.

Today was just like all the other days in the office: busy, tiring, with a ton of new paperwork. Though it was missing one specific detail, the day was almost over, but Han still hasn't found a hidden present from his boss. It was almost their tradition by now, the man would bring in small gifts every day, trying to show his sympathy for the younger. Jisung knew about Mr.Lee's feelings towards him, and, actually, felt himself falling little by little too, but he had decided that there's no chance for their relationship, as he has a little daughter.

Han was sitting in his office, finishing his last work for the day. In a few minutes he finally turned off the computer, fishing out his phone afterwards. He opened the notes app, to write a list of groceries, that he needed to get tomorrow on his way home.
"I believe we still have pasta left for dinner..."
He was deep in his thoughts, packing up his stuff and walking through the office corridor.

A moment later the elevator doors open, revealing Minho standing inside. The younger quickly puts his gadget away, bowing to greet his boss.
-Good evening, Mr. Lee.
-Hello, Jisung. How was your day?
-It was alright, not too exhausting happily, - the boy generated a simple answer, trying not to sound informal.
-I'm glad to hear that. Are you heading home now?
-Yes. Is there something I should do?
-No, it's not about that. I just wanted to suggest that I take you home, if you don't mind that.
-Uh..., - he hesitated, not quite sure what to say.
-Well, I'm not exactly pushing you with that decision, but I would really appreciate it, if you agreed.
-I actually just remembered, that I have to go pick something up, before going to my house.., - Han combs his hair and pulls on a tight smile.
-We can stop by, it's not a big deal.

Jisung looks at the small black screen with flashing green numbers, they will soon reach the ground floor. But it feels so wrong to reject the older.. yet as much as he would love to give in, he couldn't.

-I'm just not sure how much time I'll spend there... and I don't want to be such a bother, - he tried to avoid eye contact, looking down.
-If I'm the one asking to drive you, it obviously isn't a problem for me, - Lee pierced his back with his dark eyes.

The elevator stops. The silver doors opened, revealing a way outside. The younger took a deep breath in, making his final decision.

-Um, I have to go now, Mr. Lee.... Have a pleasant evening, - he said calmly, giving the man one last smile and starting to walk out.

But Minho wasn't going to give up that easily. As quick as his reflexes are, he catches Han by his hand, holding gently, yet strongly. The one turns, glancing back at the hand and then at the older. He let out a soft gasp, not getting the needed oxygen.
