Single Daddy

Chapter 1

Riker's POV

I pulled into the drive way. I haven't seen these guys since Summer started school last summer. She jumped out of the car and ran to the door. I took my time getting out of the car so she would be in the house when I got to my mom. I walked to the door then into the doorway just as she turned around. Tears came over me. I ran into her arms and became her little boy again.

Don't get me wrong, I adore my daughter but I will never deny that I was so not ready for her. I had no clue how to make a bottle, give a baby a bath, or how to change a diaper. If it wasn't for my mother, I'm sure Summer would have never made it to age one. She didn't kick me out, she let me stay with her and still helped me live my dream. Now I've been around the world with my little girl by my side and my whole family supporting me. My mom and dad have basically saved mine and my baby's life...Many times.

She held on to my waist just as tight as I held on to her. I felt so much better. I pulled away and looked at her. "Hi mom." I said smiling as I laughed those words out. "Hi sweet heart." she did the same. "Oh my stars you look just like you did when you where younger." she said as tears fell. "I wanted to remember me your little boy." I choked out. "Oh honey." she said and pulled me back to her. I hugged her for what felt like forever, but then she pulled away. "I didn't tell your father. Scince you couldn't be here for fathers day." She said. "I'll be back." I said. I walked through the house rapidly. I ran into the garage and saw him working on the car. "Dad?" I asked shaky. He turned around, his face fell when he saw me. "Oh my god." I herd him whisper. I walked to him and he pulled me into a hug.

"I can't believe you're here." He whispered. "I've missed you so much." I whispered. "Pawpa!" I suddenly herd. I pulled away and let her run to him. "I'm gunna go say hi to the guys." I said. I walked through the house then outside. "Hey guys what's up?" I asked. "Riker!!" Rydel sprung up and hugged me. I hugged all my brothers and Ellington. "Hey guys, I missed you." I said. "We missed you too, Summer too." Rocky said. "So how are you guys?" I asked. "I'm sure I can speak for everyone when I say we're ready for tour." Ross said.

We started joking and reminiscing, we ened up having a mini cook out. Rydel played with Summer in the pool while the guys and I played some pool. We had good and surprisingly deep bro convos when Rocky spoke up. "Hey Riker me an Ross know this girl..." he said nervously. "Oh no, no. Last time you introduced me to a girl, she ended up crazy." I said. I tooka shot and made it. "No girls." I said. "Okay then, I got a bunch of guy friends so I-" "That's not what I meant..Summer is all I need." I said.
Later that night
I sat know the edge of my old bed as she laid there in an old shirt of mine. "Daddy, I can't wait for tour." She smiled. "I can't either baby. Now you be a good girl and sleep well. Come get me if you need me baby. I said and stood up. I bent down and kissed her forehead and she kissed my cheek. "Love you daddy." She said. "I love you more angel." I whispered back. I then walked out and shut the door behind me then walked down stairs.
