Once upon a time...

there was a young woman who danced her way through many lands far from her native soil. She never stayed in one city for longer than a night. Her performances took through many a kingdom, a forest, a desert.

Like a lost bird, she migrated from place to place looking for a home. No land, no matter how distant, would do. So she took on the sea, traveling with merchants and pirates alike.

Until one fateful night she landed on an island nation with mystical mountain, lush forests and pink cherry blossoms that lined the streets. Suddenly, she was home. She needn't search for nesting grounds any longer.

Talk spread throughout the land of a mystical foreign woman who performed like no other. A young lord caught word of her and was eager to watch her perform.

She danced for his court on a warm summer night. They were wed within a week.

Yet the tides turned quickly for the dancer as the public's feelings turned cold towards foreigners, including the young bride.

The palace walls grew in size  to keep her safe. Despite isolation, the couple was soon blessed with a baby girl. She had soft, sheep like hair like her mother.

And so it seemed the family would live happily ever after, yet fate had different plans.

... But that is a story I will tell you another time.
