The Deal (An Astarion x Female OC Fic)

Hello everyone, I'm Rae! Before we get to the good stuff, I wanted to introduce myself and a little about the book.

I'm a recently graduated college student who has an obsession with playing BG3 and has fallen hard for Astarion. I will try to make sure I have enough time to write, but please bear with me as my schedule changes and my top priority will not always be writing for enjoyment.

The characters portrayed in this story have been written in my own portrayal of their personalities, they may not be what you envisioned when you played the game. I will try to stay true to the amazing performances made by their voice actors in which made them feel so real, but I am not perfect and so neither will my portrayals of them be. All BG3 characters belong to Larion, I in no way claim ownership of them. But I do claim ownership of my writing and of the content that I post with them in it. The image used in the cover doesn't belong to me, I found a screen capture from the game and used it for the cover. Please do not repost this story elsewhere as your own without permission. Though please feel free to share the link with friends to read if you would like. If I choose to post it elsewhere I will be sure to share that with all you wonderful readers**.

Now, Neil Newbon has done an absolutely amazing job voicing this character, and because of that most players (me included) feel how real the character is. (Congrats by the way for winning best performance at The Game Awards Neil! So proud of you and happy you won!) It's hard not to fall for the character. But Neil and Astarion are very different people as I ask that in reading my story you remember this. Please respect Neil in any comments you make, and don't refer to them as one and the same.

The story itself is going to be a bit of a slow burn romance and will get spicy as things progress. These scenes will likely only be in later chapters and I will mark them with *** to show they contain that content and will leave a warning at the beginning of the chapter. When I do write these scenes I will make sure the spicy content is completely separate from the storyline so that if anyone feels uncomfortable reading it they can skip it without concerns to missing any story. I hope that everyone can enjoy my story, even if they aren't comfortable with every part of it.

To wrap things up, I'm really excited to write this story and see what you all think. I'd love any feedback you can give me, even if it is critiques. I just ask that you all are kind with your comments, I will not put up with anything less.
