Mission-2 The doctor

"Alright now that we have got ourselves back together, we can plan an escape plan which will require reviving Dr. Henderson. because with him we can access all rooms in this facility," the AI said.  "OK. so how are we supposed to do that," you asked. "We must extract some of your DNA into a syringe and inject it into his system but we must weaken the curse that resides inside of him first,". You tell Gloria to look for something to use as a weapon other than the pistol which is currently has 18 bullets left. You both leave the room into the hallway you are instantly hit with the smell of rotten corpses like smoke and tar with rotten eggs and animal shit. You look around and see dead bodies or whatever is left of them everywhere smeared on walls, hanging from tiles in the ceiling, and crunched into the cold floor. One corpse is missing a hand, others are organs in puddles of blood, another was hanging from the ceiling with its entrails, the next had its neck and back twisted into a knot, one of them had been cut in half, the last one was looked as if it committed suicide recently.

You keep on walking until you reach a door at the end of the hallway. With a squelch Gloria picks up a crowbar from a dead body and gestures towards the door. You nod and open the door a cursed jumps out immediately and Gloria crushes its skull with the crowbar making a crunching sound that echos through out the hall.

Continuing down the hall right about at a corner a dead body went flying into the wall next to you with a loud bang, splat, and thud as it smeared on the wall and hit the ground. A creature made of shadows ran at the body and broke through the wall.

It came out and paused as it saw you. "I believe that, that creature is Dr. Henderson," said the AI. The creature made a loud screeching noise and charged straight towards you. You attempt to activate QAAS but it was too late you and Gloria get knocked into the door and onto the floor. The creature attacked again trying to crush you, you and Gloria dodge left and right but the force of the stomps and punches break the floor under you. Everyone falls into the room under the hallway which was the thermal testing room. You can tell by the gas pipes and pressure tools in the walls and floor. The creature recovers fast and lunges again but Gloria strikes it right on it's head knocking it into the floor you begin shooting emptying the magazine you reload but not before the creature hits the new magazine out of your hand. You run towards the mag but the creature grabs your leg you kick its arm. You are knocked into the wall the air knocked out of your lungs, you scramble to your feet and try to breath. Gloria hits the creature continuously and furiously seeming as if her curse is giving her power. You get the idea of doing the same you close your eyes and focus you try to find the soul of your curse and disappear into the shadows of the room. You open your eyes and see the back of the creature and the magazine at your feet you instantly reload and say "hey ugly!,". The creature turns around and you activate QAAS and shoot to your left, the bullet ricochets off the pipes and walls ripping through wires and thin gas pipes the room is filled with fire you grab Gloria and jump behind a piece of rubble from the hallway. The room explodes into a fury of flames and heat. You and Gloria are knocked to your stomach's you get up to see the shadowy creature but it has holes in its body revealing Dr. Henderson's skin you immediately stab him with the injection and press on the button injecting him with your blood.

The creature yelled and screamed. It reached outwards like it was trying to grab something, suddenly a sword appeared out of thin air darker than the abyss. The creature grabbed it and tried to swing at you and Gloria. "NOO, NOOO, not yet, I was just getting started! I had so many plans! We were going to rule this world! We were free after so long!," the creature yelled, then in one last scream of agony the creature disappeared into a cloud of smoke leaving Dr. Henderson on the floor holding the sword. He opened his eyes gasping for air he reached out and grabbed a gas mask and began to regulate his breathing.

"Thank you," he said after catching his breath. "why do you need a mask to breathe," both you and Gloria asked. "Because the cure you all have is incomplete making it where you probably still have the powers of your curses and the weaknesses too," said the AI. "Okay now that I can breathe again off to introductions you probably know who I am otherwise you would have ran when you saw 'him'," said Dr. Henderson. You both nod and introduce your selves.
