It was all great in grade 3 and 5, but what about 4 and 6?

At the end of grade 3, My bestfriend Zoe and I were devastated. Why? Because we found out we weren't going to be in the same class the next year. In grade 3 we were super close. We were closer than sisters and mothers combined. Just the thought of being away from eachother brought tears to our eyes. We were the perfect two.

In grade 4, we weren't as close anymore. The only time we got to see eachother was for 15 minutes in the morning, lunch, afternoon tea and sometimes we'd walk to the school gate to be picked up by our parents together. We lost a lot of our friendship and had horrible fights over basically nothing. My teacher, Miss Teal thought that I shouldn't be friends with Zoe. Miss Teal didn't like her one bit. I thought that was horrible and she's lost a lot of respect from me. People shouldn't tell other people who to be friends with and who not to be friends with.

In grade 5, we were in the same class together again. We catched up on our friendship a bit but not as much as we wanted. Our teacher, Mrs S, was a grumpy old lady. She favourited students and treated the other ones horribly. She'd yell at anything that has feelings. It was great to FINALLY be together. Other than Mrs S and Zoe and I's friendship, it was a great year.

So here we are, in grade 6. Someone's joined our little friendship group, shes causing lots of drama, shes upsetting our friendship A LOT. This, is where the third wheeling comes in.
