Suga was nervous.

He was currently parked outside the restaurant where the gathering was taking place. For 10 minutes now, he's been sitting in his car, staring at the doors leading into the establishment. His hands gripped the steering wheel as tight as he could-to the point where his knuckles started to turn white from the pressure. He felt his palms start to sweat, making him take his hands off the wheel to wipe them on his turtleneck.

'Deep breath in. Deep breath out. Deep breath in'. Deep breath out.

Suga kept repeating that mantra over and over in his head before he got the courage to push open his car door and take a step outside.

'Deep breath in. Deep breath out.' He continued.

The restaurant that was holding the event wasn't too far from their old high school, only just a couple minutes away, he remembers the times where he and the team would walk past it when hanging out, yet Suga never thought he'd actually step foot inside for some highschool reunion.

As he grew closer towards the restaurant doors, he couldn't help but shake ever so slightly with each step that he took; he'd only grown more nervous with each movement.

Soon, he reached the doors, just one push away from entering and meeting his old friends. The anxious feeling continued to rise within him, making him paranoid about what the others could possibly say to him.

'Maybe I shouldn't have come? Maybe I should've saved myself the embarrassment of coming here. Maybe I should've just stayed home and continued on with my life like how it was...'

Taking one last deep breath and closing his eyes, he turned around and was just about to walk away when he heard a very familiar voice call out to him.

"Sugawara-san?!"

Suga turned around but was tackled into a hug by the stranger, making him almost lose his balance from the sheer amount of force that the person tackled him with. All Suga could do was stand there, wide-eyed, trying to figure out who the person hugging him was, though all that he could see was the stranger's orange tufts of hair pressed against his chest.

The other person was shorter. Much shorter than him, he barely reached his shoulders as he hugged him. Surprised, Suga thought about who could've possibly hugged him in such a public and out-right manner.

"Hinata?"

"I can't believe it's actually you! It's been so long! Ages really!"

Hinata finally parted his head away from Sugawara's chest and looked up at him, a wide smile appearing on his face as he stared up at the older, still having his arms wrapped around his stomach.

"It has been a while, hasn't it?" Suga could only smile down at Hinata, bringing one of his arms up to pat his head softly, happy to see the younger one finally after so long.

'He's still as cheerful as he was back then. I'm glad.' Suga thought to himself, his smile only widening as the memories began to flood his mind from his time in high school.

"Hinata, why didn't you wait for me, I thought you wanted both of us to-", another voice started, but was cut off, one familiar yet again.

Suga looked up from Hinata to see someone staring back at him with wide blue eyes.

"Kageyama?"

"Suga-san?!"

Kagayema froze, mesmerized, and couldn't believe that the person right in front of him was the real Sugawara, the very same one that he knew back in high school. Suga was different, he seemed slightly taller-his hair longer than before, wrapped up in a hair tie to form a small ponytail. He appeared more exhausted than before, perhaps as a result of his work, which had caused him to form eyebags underneath his eyes.
