Hello friends! Hope you all are doing good.
So all excited for another update?
"This is what happens when your show off overpower your consciousness." Complained his mom while taking the antiseptic cream from the first-aid kit.
Finally Vikram's most awaited football match took place in IIT HYD this morning .As expected IIT Hyderabad won the trophy.
When the whole audience were busy cheering up their respective IIT teams, one of the opponents team player deliberately dashed on Vikram making him stumble on his feet and fall down due to imbalance.
Vikram flinched and when his head was about to touch the ground, another kick landed on his forehead. That player also from the same opponent team. The guy reacted like he didn't notice Vikram's fall.
The whole auditorium was hell shocked and disappointed to see Vikram in that condition.Soon the chaos reverberated through the air.
Much to the opponents dismay, the referee showed yellow card to the both of the players while the first aid team rushing to Vikram with a stretcher.
Yet Vikram being stubborn didn't budge a little even though his forehead started bleeding ceaselessly and his arms were bruised.
The first aid team dressed his forehead and put a plaster over the wound and tried to apply antiseptic over his bruises, but he politely denied saying he could manage for a while.
Finally it was the most awaited moment for everyone present there. It was the last goal, and undoubtedly it was Vikram who kept on defending the ball most of the time.
Inhaling a sharp breath he neared the swinging ball like a predator.
Giving a signature glance at the particular opponent team he tore off the plaster from his forehead making the blood ooz out of the wound and kicked the ball with the needed amount of force making the ball hit the target.
It all happened within a blink of a second. The expression his eyes held right at the moment was unexplainable.Slowly a small smile made it's way and everything blacked out before him.
Now he was laying on his bed after having a proper medication. His whole family was settled in his room.
"Feeling dizzy?"asked his mom making him lean to the headboard while placing a pillow behind his back for support.
He shook his head lightly, while his elder sister Preethi made him drink water.
"Mom,I am feeling like sleeping for sometime..."
"No..You can't when I am here."grinned Ajay entering the room carrying the trophy in his hands rocking it like a toddler.Everyone present there laughed at him except Vikram who gave a weird expression.
"You want.."grinning like a small boy Ajay forwarded the trophy to Vikram.
Vikram inched forward to get it when Ajay pulled it to himself saying it belongs to him.
"Dad,did you see how easily he is trying to snatch it from me when I am being the sole reason for this."
"I spent half of my savings to give special training to the poor students in our team when our coach didn't allow them in the first place saying they were inefficient."
Said Ajay hinting at Vikram's doings and contributions for the game. They exchanged glances while Vikram sat there with a motionless face.
He felt like giving a Nice treatment for Ajay as he didn't wanted Ajay to blabber everything to his parents.Sometimes it needed to let his parents know,so he just stared at Ajay.
After having a family discussion everyone left leaving this duo alone.
Vikram gave a charming smile to Ajay, hinting something which made Ajay jump out of the bed and sit in the nearby couch.
"Don't you dare beat me moron." He knows what Vikram's charming smile means.
"I won't...come here."said Vikram chuckling.
"Btw, what is the matter you are trying to convey?I can see your excitement,but... couldn't figure out what?"
"You will be surprised to hear this..."said Ajay making Vikram forrow his brows thinking what could it be.
-------------
Vikram's POV:
I was walking through the corridor while my whole body and eardrums became numb due to the continuous praisings and hugs from my colleagues and juniors.
The bruises were almost cured but the plaster was still on my head which irks me more.I couldn't even ruffle my own hair properly. All credits goes to my mom and dad who didn't allow me to remove it saying it will get infected.
As I continued walking towards the empty corridor I stopped midway and turned to the library premises.
Heaving a sigh I ascended through the stairs till the third floor.Did not understand why but somewhere in my heart I felt like going there.
"Hello ma'am,"pulling a stool I sat facing the opposite person.
Vridhi looked up and I found her eyes brightened and a smile formed without her notice.Realising it she quickly covered it and made a normal face.
"Why did you cry after the match?"I asked making her eyes wide.
