Part II, Cypress

"Wow Kachaans quirk is so cool! He's going to be a Hero like All Might for sure!"

You turn your head towards the voice and see a park, you head over to it and see a green headed boy with an ashy blonde kid. His smug grin makes you flinch slightly, 'How does a kid already have such a scary smirk?'. Unfortunately, a kid with wings had spotted you, as he and his friend came up behind you and shoved you to the ground.

"Hey bakugou! Look who I found eavesdropping!"

"No, I found them first!"

You sweat drop at their nonsense fighting as you sit up from the sand. And then the greenette holds a hand to you.

"A-Are you okay? T-That fall looked like it h-hurt...!"

You smile softly, his kindness was so rare nowadays. . . You take his hand giving him a slight nod, he sighs in relief as he pulls you up. What you didnt realize was that the fall had made you bite your tongue. And it started bleeding, filling your mouth with saliva mixed blood. The boy looked at you with worry and was about to say something until he was interrupted.

"Oi! Who are you weirdo! And why are you creeping up on us? Are you a Villain! If you're a villain ill beat you to a pulp!"

The ashy blonde says, creating small explosions in his hands. You jump and back away, shielding your face with your arms. One horizontal on your forehead, the other likewise on your mouth and chin. You quickly shake your head no, making you dizzy in the process.

"K-Kachaan! I think you scared them! S-Say sorry! All Might doesn't scare people!"

The freckled boy moves in front of you, trying to shield you slightly, showing he won't back down from fighting his friend if it means helping others, but that only ends with the other moving to punch him.

You quickly grab the collar of the boys' neck and swing him to the side even though he landed butt first, preventing him of harm. Yet bringing it to you instead.

"Useless Deku! Don't try and act like your above me- Hah!?"

He yells in surprise as you strike back with a kick to the gut, sending him to the ground. You open your eyes and look at him in shock, soon becoming paralyzed from your actions. But you're snapped out of your thoughts as somethings grabs you from behind. You jump and cover your head in shock.

 
God, you hate being touched by people you aren't comfortable with. He notices this and apologizes profusely, but the both of you don't notice the ash blonde staring at you.

" Bakugou Katsuki Pov: "

How did you stand up to him. Nobody has, and especially for Deku... Why the hell did you help that Useless nerd anyway?  He didn't even have a quirk, what was it that made Deku better than him!?

"Oi, who the hell are you! And why're you standing up for that Quirkless loser!"

Deku just looked at the ground sadly, thinking his new 'friend' would leave him since he was quirkless. But the (H/C) child looked over at deku and hugged him,

'I don't know why, but it made me angry. That kid was strong enough to stand up against me, they should stick with me! Not some loser like Deku! Strong people should stick together, right? So why aren't you staying with me! I'll show that Deku!'

" (Y/N) (L/N) Pov: "

You hugged the green haired boy, which surprised you. It was out of instinct to comfort the freckled child, you didn't want to see someone so kind to be hurt. The hug wasn't uncomfortable at all, it felt reassuring, like a Cwtch. It's been a while since you've had such soothing contact with another person.

If only you could notice the blushing mess the other was, not used to such contact, from a cute person Nonetheless. He felt so embarrassed, especially since he was the one trying to protect you. He was trying to be a hero for once... But he couldn't even do that...

You noticed his sadness and frowned. You grabbed his hand and put them on their face with your own, and look at him dead in the eyes. You whisper to him,

"Hey, don't be sad! We're just kids, theres always room to grow! What you did back there was really brave and hero-like! You're my hero! It doesn't matter if your quirkless or not, true strength is what really matters. People shouldn't rely on powers alone, you got this!"

You smile brightly, to him at least; you couldn't feel the difference, as you lean your head in, your foreheads leaning against eachother, noses almost touching.

"Never give up on your dreams, no matter how far they seem!"

You give him a look of reassurance, telling him to keep those words in mind. But if only you knew how impactful it was to him, And how that sentence only enraged the red eyed male more. As he was practically staring daggers into the freckled boy, though he didn't pay mind to it.

All his fears left by looking at you, he was so happy that someone believed in him. His best friend didn't, nor did his own mother. But you, a complete stranger, believed in him for who he was. You must have been an angel, a god, for you were too good for this world. You needed to be protected, he would be your hero. He would be there to protect you from anything of harm. You would be safe with him, even without a quirk he would be a hero for you. He would protect you, no matter what.

"Ah, I almost forgot to introduce myself. My names (Y/N), it's nice to meet you... Uh... Deku, was it?" 

You back away from the hug, giving him a small smile. He wished he could grab you into a tighter hug to feel your angelic warmth again, but once again, a now very angry Blonde has had enough of the chit chat.

"A stupid name for a stupid extra, the names Bakugou, the future number one hero! You better remember my name extra!"

You turn over to him, slightly hurt by his words. But you get over it, you see that it's become evening so you should wrap it up.

"Oh, well then hello Bakugou, Guess I'll be seeing you a lot more when you go pro huh? Then I guess you will learn some manners and how to 'help' people right? It was nice to meet you guys, maybe we'll meet in the future. . ."

You began to walk away, walking between the other two boys who were still trying to process what you did to Bakugou. Until something clung onto your clothes. You glance behind you and see Deku.

"U-Uhm.. M-My names Izuku Midoriya! You can call m-me Izuku if you want.. Or D-Deku! I hope t-to see you soon (Y/N)-San!"

He gave you a cheerful yet teary eyed smile, and it melted you from the inside out. You smiled and ruffled his hair with a nod as you continue to walk away. The boys just watch as you walk away, slowly disappearing into the city. The greenette sat down slowly, and took a minute to fika. You continue to walk around. . . Until you find something familiar nearby...

A Cypress. . .

You stare at it sadly, its velvety red petals crumpling and wrinkling. You go to a water fountain and fill your hands with water, then bringing it to the dehydrated plant. After you water it, you make a little fence around it with nearby twigs and sticks. You smile at your masterpiece, until you hear some light crying.
