Jungkook gulped, anxiously sucking on his thumb, sitting beside Jennie, who drove the car to the place Ryan had told them to arrive, and Lisa was glancing at Jungkook, weirded out.

"Jungkook, love, should I bring a pacifier or a dick for you to suck on instead?" Lisa said, sounding completely taunting, and Jungkook pulled his thumb out, embarrassed.

"Don't worry. We're here for you." Jennie reassured, putting her hands over Jungkook's and giving it a light squeeze. "Thank you," Jungkook muttered. The turmoil inside him never disappeared, and he was on the verge of crying any moment, but he didn't want to.

Jungkook didn't want to cry once again. But still, a tear escaped past his eye, and Jungkook felt his breaths were gradual as well; he concentrated on the road, Jennie's hand still over his in an auspicious manner.

After a few minutes, the three reached the place—it was a stadium or a court for sport—that's what the three had assumed from outside at least.

Jungkook opened the car door and walked out before taking a look around. He saw the familiar black Marcedes that he had seen in the hospital, with Lisa in it. And Jungkook was certain the car belonged to Ryan.

Jungkook gulped, looking over at the black-haired girl. She definitely works for Ryan. He slightly cowered before looking at Jennie, honestly doubting if Jennie worked for Ryan too, which was most likely.

The three stepped inside, and Jungkook noticed it was a huge basketball court, and in the middle of the court, he saw the five boys tied with ropes in the chair. Jungkook almost started crying upon seeing the scenery.

The boys seemed badly injured too, and Jungkook quickly rushed to the boys, who were wincing in pain, and hugged Jin and Hoseok, then glanced at Namjoon, and then Jimin and Yoongi fluttered their eyelashes open.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry for dragging you guys into this mess." Jungkook cried out loudly, and then the five bruised boys started crying too. All of them were.

"This is emotional," Jennie whispered with a pout, and Lisa whacked the back of her head with a grin. "I never knew you cared about something like this considering the number of people you have killed." Lisa chuckled, shoving her hands into the pocket of her jeans.

"It's not your fault, Jungkook. We're just experiencing something you have already experienced years ago." Namjoon smiled through his tears, and Jungkook looked down, sniffing loudly.

God, this was messy.

"I promise I'll get you guys out of here."

"Too bad none of you are returning home alive." A voice appeared. The eight looked across the bleachers and found Ryan, with a bunch of minions behind him. They approached closer.

"But you said you'd let me go if I came here!" Jungkook snapped angrily, standing up and glaring at the raven-haired man, who smirked. "And now I'm changing my mind. What's with that?" Ryan continued, steering closer, and stood in front of Jungkook.

"Because to think about it, letting any of you go out of here alive would bring trouble for me." Ryan continued, stroking Jungkook's hair, and then his cheek kicked his leg. "Get your filthy hands off my friend, you donkey!" Jin snapped out, his eyes darkening in anger.

Ryan gritted his teeth together, giving Jin a glare. "You're so annoying, you'll be the first one to die!" Ryan growled, pulling a gun out, but then all of them stopped.

And in a matter of a few seconds, the court started to get filled with green smoke, and the sounds stopped. Everyone was busy figuring out where the smoke came from.

"What the fuck is this?" Ryan grunted, and then his eyes widened when he saw one of his men collapsing down, probably unconscious because of the chemicals that were found within the smoke.

Jungkook panicked, and then he turned behind and saw Jennie and Lisa pulling out some pieces of clothing to cover their mouths and noses.

Jungkook decided to follow the same motion as well, holding his breaths as he searched for a handkerchief within his pockets because now everyone was falling unconscious, even his five friends.

Jungkook found a cloth and then quickly pulled it out, covering his mouth and nose. Hearing the sound of a small metal drop, Jungkook looked down to see what he had dropped. Jungkook noticed it was the handkerchief of the evidence, and he had dropped the evidence.

Jungkook kneeled down and picked up the small object, his heartbeats quickening as he stood up and looked at it in horror. And then he stared at Lisa, who was facepalming, and Jennie, who looked back at him, also horrified.

Jungkook's stomach twisted, his heartbeats paced up, his lips started to quiver, and his eyes grew wide. "W-what's this?" Jungkook asked, watching the object more carefully, and he felt more tears rising up into his eyes.

Lisa gritted her teeth and pulled the handkerchief away from Jungkook, and Jungkook fell unconscious upon smelling the chemicals in the air.

Jennie quickly grabbed the object from Jungkook's hand and then examined Jungkook's fourth finger. Jennie then looked back at the diamond ring on her palm.

"Your husband's wedding ring."
