Dragons are feared and most people who dare even go near them will probably end up dead, So that's why here the kingdom of Avendele its forbidden to go outside the kingdoms walls but of course I don't listen to that because outside our kingdom walls is an enchanted forest, some people say it was created during the battle between Sol Regem (the king of dragon) and humans.
My name is Amber im 17 and my brother Caleb is 15 he looks older than me because hes taller but hes not. My mum is called Genny she works as a cook in the castle, severing food to the king and other important people. But anyway let me tell you about The most amazing thing ever that happened to me and my brother.
One day. Caleb was out practising patrolling the walls(Because he wants to become a castle guard) until he saw a bright red glow coming from the heart of the forest he didn't know what is was so he decided to sneak out and go check it out. But because hes not very sneaky I saw him trying to sneak out. I asked where he was going and he told me,
" There is a weird red glow coming from the forest I have to go check it out!"
"Well I'm coming with you! I'm not letting you go alone." I told him before showing him a better way out into the forest.
As we got closer to the heart of the forest we could feel the intense heat from the Fire red Glow as it beamed on to our pale faces.
It was a .. Dragon egg but not any dragon egg the egg of Sol Regem Himself.
