~Ophelia~
Struggling to fight the two men in black, I manage to pull one of their ski masks up enough to get a facial profile. Just then, the other guy grips my arms behind my back to keep me still while the one with piercing green eyes, tan skin and plump lips forced his fingers around my jaw and nose. Before I knew it, I was being tossed into the back of their black Suburban, my body so limp and numb. That's when I hear two gun shots in the house shortly before blacking out.
~Matt~
"That went better that it could have. I can't believe that bitch pulled off your mask," Chris says from next to me as we throw Ophelia's limp body in the back of the Suburban.
"Yeah, that's truly something, mate," I say in annoyance.
Chris can be very talkative and annoying.
Once everything checks out, I take off for the boss' hideout. I'm not so sure why the boss thinks this will solve our problems, but it's not my place to intervene with rivalry. As I turn to make sure Ophelia is still knocked out, that's when Chris decides it's his time to shine when a karaoke outburst with the radio.
"Shawty, you got a body like a Benz," He starts singing at the top of his lungs which makes me glare at him in annoyance.
"Jesus, dude, do you not understand what we're doing?" I ask before turning the radio off and smacking Chris on the back of the head to shut him up.
"Well you don't have to be so mean about it," He pouts, folding his arms over his chest before sitting in silence the rest of the way.
We arrived before the boss came back, so we decided to move forward with the plan. With Ophelia mounted over my shoulder, we quickly brought everything inside before getting caught. Once inside, I brought her down to the basement and laid her down on a sheeted mattress on the floor. To ensure she couldn't run off, I bound one of her ankles to a chain attached to the floor.
It was about to be dark, which meant people were gonna start looking for her. I sat there and watched her sleep until the boss arrived. I can't believe Justin got with a dame like this one. Beautiful, smart, rich daddy taking care of her; She's got it all. While people like me have to go neck and neck just to put food on the table. It's not right and it sure as shit ain't fair.
I snap out of my thoughts as the basement door creaks open, echoing off the walls. Once he walks over to where I'm sitting, his hand is placed on my shoulder.
"Well, son, how does it feel knowing you kidnapped the spawn of the richest man in Greentown?" He smugs.
"Not very good, actually."
"You're not backing out, are you? You're the strongest man I have for this kind of gig."
"I'm conflicted. I don't want anyone getting hurt."
"Well, since you feel so strongly about it, why don't you keep charge of her, hm? Find out as much as you can about Justin's plot."
"Yes, sir." I sit patiently for Ophelia to wake up as the boss disappears on the first level of the house.
~Ophelia~
I wake up chained to the floor, my body lying on an uncomfortably stained mattress. I look around and notice I'm in the basement before those emerald green eyes come into contact with mine again.
"I know you, you're the one who took me from Justin!" I say in pure anger.
"Yes, I did."
"Why?"
"You know, I should be the one interrogating you," He says trying to change the subject.
"I don't care what kind of questions you have to ask me. I want to go home!"
