~Justin~
Waking up alone confused me until I remembered the argument we had last night. Trailing to her door, I take a deep breath to prepare myself for the shit storm brewing on the other side. Pushing the door open, I take a step forward before realizing she's still asleep. I continue into the room and see she wrote something in her diary, leaving the pages opened when she fell asleep.
My curiosity got the best of me and I swiftly and carefully swiped the diary before leaving her bedroom. Reading the page it was left open to first, I quickly became intrigued by her writing.

Dear Diary,
Why do men cheat? Furthermore, why do men cheat and lie about cheating? At least be honest about it instead of making me feel stupid for believing your sad lies. I don't know if I can trust him anymore. Everyone wants us to break up so bad and is willing to put everything on the table to ensure it happens. But what about me? Am I not worthy of happiness and peace? Is this what my life is and I should just accept it or do I have to keep fighting through the madness? It's so tiring and I'm so close to just giving up.

Her words made me cry. I had no idea she felt this way and it really opened my eyes to how her mind works. I made a mental note to sneak her diary every once in a while just to see what she has to say in private. I know it's wrong of me to read her diary, but I need to know all the deep thoughts she's afraid to express openly. Creeping back into her room, I make sure to leave her diary exactly how she left it before leaving her alone to make breakfast for the both of us.
Hearing her small steps trail behind me, I turn giving her a small smile. She greets me with an unhappy glint in her eyes before sitting at the table. I let it go for the moment until breakfast is served and we've both settled to eat together.
"So, is there anything you'd like to talk about?"
"What would I have to talk to you about?"
"Well, last night was pretty rough."
"Your point being?"
"I just think there's a lot not being said."
"I have nothing to say to you. You won't apologize and therefore I have no words to communicate to you about the issue."
"Ophelia, please."
"No, I'm done with the lies and deception. If there's someone else, then please tell me so I can pack my things and move back into my father's house. I didn't just sign away my life and freedom to marry you just for you to treat me like second best."
"Second best? Ophelia, I love you. I'm telling you, I've never slept with another woman or gave another woman an ounce of my attention to make them believe they have a chance with me. I'm all yours and it's been that way since I've started working under your father. You have my word."
"Then why is she leaving all those messages talking about you have a son?"
"I don't know, honest to God, I don't. She could be trying to get you jealous or get me to leave you, but it's not working."
"I'm done with this conversation," She says before standing from the table to put her dishes in the sink.
"Well, I'm not. I need you to believe in me and trust me when I say there's no other woman and that I am devoted to you."
"I will never believe you or trust you until those messages stop coming in and all these random women disappear from your life. I don't know what you do at work and I don't intend on camping out in your office just to see exactly what you do because at that point, they're only gonna come around when I'm not there. So, let me be angry."
