You slowly wake up, the world coming into focus as your eyelids flutter open. You attempt to sit up, wincing as a wave of dizziness washes over you. As your vision clears, you see a man sitting cross-legged not far from the bed: Dr. Banner, also known as Brace. "Ah, you're awake," he says, offering you a reassuring smile.
Y/n, still a bit dazed, looks around the room. Dr. Banner is the only one here, and you start to wonder how much time has passed since you passed out. "Hey, Brace. How long have I been out and where's Tony?" you ask, your voice hoarse a little. Dr. Banner says. "You've been unconscious for about three days, and have been over heating every now and then with that your marks have sometimes shown up as well mostly at night thought, and Tony is just outside the door with Pepper"
"Ah, thanks," Y/n replies, nodding. You take a deep breath and try to sit up again, wincing slightly at the renewed dizziness.
Just then, the door opens and Tony walks in. He looks relieved to see you awake and rushes over to the bedside. "Hey, kiddo," he says, his voice thick with emotion. "I'm so glad you're awake."
Tony crouches down next to you, taking your hand in his. He studies your face for a moment, brushing a stray strand of hair out of your eyes. "You've been through quite a lot," he gently says "But you're a tough cookie" Y/n smiles weakly.
"How's the team holding up?" you ask, with your voice still hoarse. Tony nods. "They're doing alright, considering. They're all worried about you, though. "As for Peter..." He trails off, his expression turning dark. "I'm not sure what to say. He made a mistake, and he knows it, I've been wondering why he as not come here more then he it and he's been trying to apologize in his own way. But I'm not sure if that's enough."
Y/n sighs softly, feeling a pang of guilt, and you weren't sure if you were ready to face him yet. "I'm sorry, Tony," you whisper. "I should've been more careful."
Dr. Banner, who had been silently observing the exchange, clears his throat. "Perhaps it's time for you to rest, Y/n. You've been through a lot, and uh well" he looks at you in the eyes, you look at your skin and it begins to light up your marks on your skin begin to glow, "I'm here if you need anything, okay" he says with a small smile, trying to lighten the mood and walks back to his desk.
With help from Dr. Banner and Tony, you manage to get out of the bed and make your way into the living room. As you enter, you see Natasha talking to Peter, their voices low and intense. You immediately feel a mix of emotions: anger and hurt, but you also can't help but notice the way they're looking at each other, the unspoken understanding between them.
You hesitate for a moment, unsure of whether to approach them or not. Before you can decide, though, Peter spots you and breaks away from Natasha. His expression is a mix of shame and relief. "Y/n," he says, his voice thick with emotion. "I'm so sorry."
"It's fine" you turn from him and walk into the elevator and the last thing you see is Peters face with sadness for you. You go to your room and close the door behind you. You look around and see your things scattered all over the place. You go to your bed and sit on it, your eyes welling up with tears. You feel so much pain and anger inside you, but you also can't help but feel a tiny bit relieved that he finally admitted it.
