I am part of the Let's Write! Discord server and we are having a Holiday event on fandoms and ships! Here is my entry!

Extra Info needed: Hoyoverse being Hoyoverse, has decided actual holidays will not appear in their game because it's an explorative RPG fighting game. So because of this fact, I think it would feel wrong to call Teyvat's version of Christmas just well- Christmas! That is why I present to you... Caeluminous! The Latin root Caleum means heaven, sky, and is the Latin root for Celestia/Celestial! Due to the fact the most powerful being in Teyvat is named Celestia. I found it fitting for Christmas, celebrated after the birth of Jesus Christ, for Caeluminous to be named after the day Celestia took authority over Teyvat when she defeated the 7 sovereigns/dragons of Teyvat and created the 7 Archons! Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy and Merry Christmas, or rather Happy Holidays to you all! I hope you all enjoy my little one-shot!

Bells... She heard bells and a warm yet clear and bright flowing-like sound... But where from? She slowly sat up from where she layed, it felt cold... Oddly cold, wasn't she just in her bed? Her honey-gold eyes wandered around the space she was in, it was like the abyss. Cold and dark, with no warmth or company. Just her... Just her and the embodiment of ebony surrounding her.

As she took another look around, something caught her eyes. A singular bit of light shone through the obsidian-like realm. But... It started to recede, pulling back farther, and farther. But as it moved, something stood out to her. A young man with golden-blonde hair and bright eyes that looked like sunlight.

"Brother! Wait for me! Brother! I-it's me, Lumine! Come back, Aether!" She called out as she ran after the fading light. It kept getting quicker and quicker, causing her to run faster and faster. "Aether!" The light-blonde girl called out again as she took another step and ran even faster.

"B-brother! Come back! Brother!" The girl yelled with all her strength in her voice. Unable to catch up to the light that ever so faded away, quicker and quicker. With every step she took, it only seemed to be further from where she stood.

Then stood another figure. Except this one held his hand out to her, his face was blurred and she couldn't see what he looked like. But she knew he was very familiar as if she knew him very well. Too well even...

"Lumine... Wake up." The voice said in a hushed tone. Finally, she was able to see at least one of the young man's features. Glowing golden eyes with cat-like pupils appeared before her. His eyes were gentle and calm, but they still seemed cold and distant... Then it hit her, she realized who he was...

Just as she was about to say his name, the atmosphere around her started to shift. The darkness began to crumble as if it were being pulverized. She could hear a voice, but it was far... A high-pitched one, one she could never forget...

"L-lumine! Wake up! Lumine! Please, wake up! Paimon is worried! Lumine!" A little floating fairy-like child shook her awake, while practically yelling in her ear. The blonde-haired traveler's eyes fluttered open, her honey-gold eyes looking over to her worried flying companion.

"P-paimon?.. Stop yelling in my ear, I need to hear you know..." Lumine mumbled as she slowly sat up from her bed. Her head hurt a bit, but it was bearable. She smiled lightly at the silver-haired fairy-like being next to her, whose face seemed relieved.
