Old Man: Long ago, the Yagorou Gang plagued this pass. The bandit leader, a towering spear master, was said to be an irredeemable devil. A survivor of the Toyotomi Clan, he claimed to be collecting money for the great cause. Truthfully, he raided villages and attacked merchants who traveled the pass. He knew no bounds with the atrocities he committed. One year, he led his band to a small port town. There, they gorged on blood and plunder. The sole survivor of the massacre was a child that Yagorou kept alive on a lark, only as an ear to hear his exploits and a hand to pour his drink. Yagorou liked children, but once he lost interest, he tossed them aside and moved on to the next. Perhaps that child already knew his fate... that he would be just another corpse come dawn. The end.
Traveling Man: Huh? Hey, gramps, is that really the end of the story? What a letdown. What happened to the Yagorou Gang and the kid?
Old Man: Well, that's where this story ends. That night, every member of the Yagorou Gang disappeared. A few days later, the lord of the land brought soldiers to that port town... They found the townsfolk and the Yagorou Gang, all dead. The cargo lay untouched.
Traveling Man: What? Did the gang members all kill each other after raiding the town?
Old Man: Who knows. It's said that Yagorou died with his spear in hand. Though...I suppose there's one other point of interest. Apparently, an official who witnessed what happened reported this to his lord: "From start to finish, it was all the handiwork of a single person. A traveler that happened to be passing by the town slew the entire pack of eighty-four bandits."
Traveling Man: Hahaha! That's too much, even for a story! One person killed the whole gang that was labeled as irredeemable? As if someone like that even exists! If anyone, it'd have to be that legendary swordsman, Musashi! ...Huh? Wait a second, gramps. The Yagorou Gang all died, right? Then what happened to the kid? There was that lone survivor, no?
(The old man shakes his head, no)
Old Man: The thing is, they never found the child's body. Neither dead nor alive... He disappeared from the world, along with the entire Yagorou Gang.
Asakusa, Taisho
(It's late at night in the small town of Asakusa. Someone is running away from something. As he sprints around the corner, a couple of demons ambush him, but the person takes his sword and strikes them down with ease. He continues running away until he comes across an open area where dozens of demons jump in ready to attack)
Y/n: Why do they pursue me...?!
(Y/n gets into his earth stance and charges at the demons. He starts by swinging his sword, taking them out one by one. But as Y/n is doing that, he notices more keep showing up one after another. This time, they arrive in groups)
Still coming? Then-
(Y/n changes his stance to water style where he takes out another sword and begins knocking the demons out by striking them into each other. Even when they start attacking him together, they are taken out by the swordsman. But as they group to prepare an all-out attack, Y/n quickly wipes them out with both swords. He begins taking out the demons simultaneously where each group is launched to air. Fifteen minutes later, he's finished taking them out. He sheaths one of his swords away. Right as he's about to sheath the other, a loud crash lands in front as a powerful strike strikes the ground. Y/n jumps back just in time. Once the dust clears, it's revealed to be someone tall and powerful)
