TWO; journalism 1

SAB.

i wish i never said anything to camille because the moment i turned my phone off the chair next to me creaked as it was being pulled out.

i groaned quietly to myself, not wanting to bring attention to the person who i was gonna have sit next to for the next few months.

i would've been content being alone this entire term, especially when the majority of the people here clearly are here for an easy credit rather than wanting to actually get something beneficial from this class.

the person, who i've collected is a guy, began chuckling to himself.

i side eyed towards his direction, instantly it hit me. i look at him as he looks back at me, my eyes trails down to his black hoodie that he currently had on.

"long time no see," he said to me, i scrunched my eyebrows in confusion. he shook his head, "don't act like you don't know me, we just bumped into each other like two minutes ago."

"i know, it's just why did you just start laughing out of nowhere once you sat down?" i asked him.

"am i not allowed to?" he retaliated, i shrugged, "you can do whatever you want."

"but what you asked made it seem like i can't just do whatever i want, which trust me i know i can." he replied.

before i could say anything, a guy in front of our table turned around. i'm assuming it's one of his minions — friends.

"yo, matt. come sit here we can make somebody switch," i looked at that "somebody" and it was a random sophomore who clearly didn't choose to sit by this guy voluntarily.

i looked over at my new found table partner, that suggestion clearly peaked his interest. i slouched into my seat, preparing for an insult then him ditching me for his friend. i couldn't blame him though, if that was me and camille was the one asking to sit with her i would do it in an instant.

"nah im good, waylon."

i looked at his friend who was clearly upset at his friend's response, he then looked at me, or rather glared at me. that glare turned quickly into a mischievous expression, he looked back at my table mate and nodded at him in acceptance.

how weird, seeing matthew sturniolo reject moving another student out of their seat was uncalled for. him and his brothers always got what they wanted from our student body, and while they aren't weirdos, they truly could do whatever their cold hearts pleased.

the sturniolo's always had a very negative vibe, the "nicest" one was chris sturniolo, and that's only because he is nice to everyone to their face, but the moment he is with his friends he turns a blind eye and ices them out.

nicolas sturniolo was kinda off the grid this year. he was just like his brothers but once he got a boyfriend, they tended to keep to themselves. like truly by themselves, not even sit with his brothers at lunch and would brush off everybody who even attempted to speak to either of them.
