Author Notes:

Everyone in Wakfu has magic and can use magic to a degree. This is very important for the one-shot.

In the game, Iop is the DPS/Tank class. In lore Iops are basically a group of people (Kind of like a Race... wakfu is confusing) that follow the creed and followings of the Iop God, basically the god of war and battle of the Wakfu universe. As such, they all believe in dying honorably battle and being courageous, etc.  Because they are so obsessed with battle, they tend to be stupid, and there's a lot of in-lore insults that relate to them like "Thinking like an Iop", "Iop-head/Iop-brain" etc.

Rushu is the only demon remaining (there used to be 10, but Rushu killed all his siblings to gain power). He lives in the world of the demons, opposite in the Krosmos to the world of the gods. He basically just wants mass destruction. Ofc, he is the one who rules all the minor demons in his realm.

Shushus are essentially demons in the world of wakfu. From what I understand, Shushus are actually demons sealed inside objects, but they're also the demons inside (the term is used interchangeably, so I just assume that's the case).

Sadida are tree magicians... yes, they can summon trees and tree-dolls to fight.

Eliatropes are dragon people who can use portals and shoot beams out of their hands.

I'm not going to get too into the lore otherwise this entire chapter will be about just lore... Anyway, I cooked this up when I was bored in my downtime, so I hope you guys enjoy.

I love wakfu, and I might write something on it someday... maybe. I'm basically retired author-wise so we'll see.

================================================================================================================================================================

We looked straight ahead of us. There were Shushus everywhere. We couldn't possibly fight all of them and leave through the portal at the same time. It was over for us.

I could feel my heart pumping, all of our adventures were for naught. I looked at the group. Yugo was disheartened to learn that Qilby, part of his family, was a traitor, and a conspirer with the evil king of Shushus. His eyes looked saddened and almost hollow. He looked down as we were slowly approached. We were literally against the wall.

Amalia tried her best to get him back on his feet, but she couldn't. Her green hair had scorched black edges from running and dodging fire from the demons. She left her kingdom to aid us, but in the end all she did was put her life at risk for nothing.

Ruel was in no condition either. His shovel was broken, and he was out of gas. He'd spent the last few minutes in combat trying to slow them down, but it was useless. When something as powerful as demons in their territory attack it is impossible to win.

Even Dally looked helpless. He had Evangelyn behind him, pointing his trusty sword Rubilax at the enemy. Poor Evangelyn had her bow destroyed, and her leg stabbed, she couldn't even stand up without help, and Dally refused to let her go. It all seemed lost.

Everything was lost. We would surely die here, accomplishing nothing. Then, I noticed it! My salvation! At the wall of a large rocky mountain, there was a small tunnel. Only one person fit through it, if I walked out and used it, I could use them as a distraction and leave. Everyone was so focused on the fight to come they hadn't noticed at all. If I left, then no one would notice. I could run away and go back to Bonta, go back to selling shoes and clocks!

I took a few steps back while they were distracted. No one saw me, they were too focused on the threat ahead. I silently squeezed through the crack on the mountain wall. I pushed through the tunnel, I expected it to be damp, but no, it burned and it cut me as I squeezed myself through it. It was a tighter fit than I expected.
