CHAPTER 14

"Just dropped him off please and let's go!"

Klaire immediately start panicking after she saw the evolved ghouls that look like a freaking octopus or something, running so fast and sticking to the walls of the buildings infront of us. Her gaze then goes down to Jared's dead body that was still sitting on the driving seat making us unable to move the van backwards to scape "We can't just drop his corpse like that!" Tutol ni Hera

"Then mamatay tayong lahat!" Sabi naman ni Althea, favoring Klaire right now. Nagpapanick na rin kase silang lahat ngayon especially the other girls "We have no choice! So just please...drop him off" Althea ordered Liam who is currently sitting beside the dead body of Jared. I could see how hesitant he was to do it as his eyes start to get teary but he immediately wiped it off

"It's okay, do it" Sabi din naman ni Caiden sakanya kaya wala na rin syang nagawa but to do it. He take his seat belt off as he lean in towards Jared to open the door on that side and when it already opened he stopped to look at him again, kinda hesitant to push off his friend's dead body

Napatakip naman ako sa tenga when the whole van got filled by screams when a small violet-ish octopus like ghoul made it to the car when Liam opened the door, it jump off to attack him and almost got on his face but luckily Althea manage to shoot it before that monster can even do that

I could see how shock Liam was just like everyone else after that "Liam kaylangan nating umalis!" Sigaw naman ni Ryegen that brought Liam back to his sense, he just also looked away as he pushed Jared off the van before he takes the driving seat and start driving the car backwards

"Oh gosh, Jared" Hera said in disbelief as she watches Jared disappear from a far as the car continue moving backwards. Kloude just pursed his lips habang nakaupo sya sa tabi ni Hera but I could also tell that he is also frustrated by his eyes, that where he's good at though, hiding his feelings

Napakapit naman ako agad sa seatbelt ko when suddenly the van start u-turing so fast making all of us held to our seatbelts dahil sa sobrang bilis ng sasakyan namin ngayon, hinahabol pa rin kasi kami ng mga disgusting violet creatures at the back, behind of the car so Liam had no choice but to sped up

"Okay ka lang?" Theo asked when he saw me holding out so tight at my seatbelt so my gaze turns to him dahil katabi ko lang din naman sya at si Ryegen sa kanan ko, I just nodded slightly as an answer

"Liam, faster!" Nagpapanick na sigaw naman ulit ni Klaire when one of those monsters almost caught the wheels of our van right now. Buti nalang mabalis yung pag papatakbo ni Liam so that creature didn't get to attack and missed the van pero dahil din don ay mas binilisan pa ni Liam ang pagpapatakbo

"We're all gonna die at this point--" Irish shouted and also start panicking but then all of a sudden a human shaped ghoul appeared infront of the road so Liam had to turn the car quickly to avoid that ghoul in the middle of the road right now "Ah!" Lahat naman kami ay napasigaw when also because of that our vehicle hit the road barrier causing our van to fall on a small cliff

Luckily hindi natumba yung sinasakyan kaya nag tuloy tuloy pa rin ang andar non until we reach the road sa baba ng cliff. Lalo lang nagkaron ng ingay sa loob ng car pagkatapos naming bumunggo dahil mas nag panick yung ilan naming mga kasama na babae so they guys was trying to calm them down

"Wag kayong maingay, mas lalo lang susunod yung mga ghouls saatin kung sisigaw kayo ng sisigaw dyan!" Gino scolded Irish and Klaire that was currently sitting beside him inside the van
