I woke up early in the morning around seven to my mom screaming.

"Nova wake up you're going to be late," my mother screamed.

I walk down the steps as my head aches. My mother serves me a hot bowl of oatmeal, "eat up before you have school.

We don't want to be late." I rolled my eyes "I'm not going to be late mom! I have 30 minutes so I can get ready and do my makeup fast!" I said.

I was very annoyed that my mother does this every day and it's getting old to the point I want to throw my bowl of oatmeal across the room. But that's besides the point.

I got up from my chair, washed my dish of half eaten oatmeal and went upstairs to get ready. I put on mascara and lipgloss. I didn't have time for a full face because my friend Tessa was coming to pick me up.

My phone buzzes "Here!" It states. "kk" I replied.

I walked out the door and got in the car, when suddenly, I heard a loud screech. Then I whip my head around to see a car racing toward us.

Then it slams into the rear of Tessa's car.. I hadn't put my seat belt on yet so my head slammed against the glove compartment.

Tessa jumps out of the car just to notice the person driving the car.

Aaron woods.

My head still aching looks up at them with a blur in my vision. Then walking over to them we start to listen to their explanation.

"I'm sorry, I was at a party last night and I got drunk and fell asleep. I was in a bit of a rush to get to school and my mother called me, "I'm sorry I can-"

I cut him off

"You know you really shouldn't drive with a hangover idiot you should have your license revoked!" I yelled.

"Jeez I'm sorry, no need to be such a jerk!" he said.

"Screw you!"

I remarked and fixed my blonde hair that was now all matted up thanks to him.

"You really should watch where you're going, you could've killed someone! You know my father, the mayor, would be really happy if he heard about this! You're lucky I don't sue you for the damages you caused to my car!" Tessa screamed.

Which was odd because she was normally quiet so it was unexpected to hear Tessa yell.

I fell into his arms and my head throbbed. Great just great I had a freaking concussion and I fell into the arms of the guy who gave it to me.

He felt comforting and soft. I hated that and his stupid face.

"Are you okay?"

He looked worried.

"I'm fine, just a headache." I said even though I wasn't fine I desperately needed medical help.

"You don't look fine, let me take you to the hospital, it's the least I could do!" He said looking at me like I was roadkill on the side of the road.

"I'm not getting in the car with a stranger! You're crazy if you think that." I looked at him, even if I needed medical attention he was hungover and probably still drunk.

When I finally made it to school I headed straight to the nurses office.

She gave me an ice pack and told me to lie down for thirty minutes.

No, it did not help. I don't know why nurses think an ice pack helps everything.
