Omniscient
The sun glowed amongst the horizon as Karen and Drew stood hand in hand. There was a relaxing sound of waves crashing on the beach. It was the only accompaniment of sound added to their conversation.

"Can you believe it's been 40 years?" Drew asked with amazement as he faced Karen.

"It feels just like yesterday we were standing at the altar saying our vows." Karen said smiling while she reminisced.

"And yet, we're still in this thing together." Drew said tracing the lines of her palm.

They had chosen Hawaii for their anniversary getaway. Over there, they could simply be two lovers without the distractions of their daily lives.

As the sky began to fully set, Drew led Karen to a blanket spread underneath a palm tree. A bottle of champagne sat in an ice bucket, and beside it was a small box wrapped in silver paper. Drew handed the box to her.

"What is it?" Karen asked as Drew handed her the box.

"Open it." He said as his eyes filled with anticipation.

Karen unwrapped the gift with trembling hands. A 16 kt diamond necklace was revealed. It might've been simple, but it exudes elegance, just like the woman he married.

"Drew, it's beautiful." She said as her voice overflowed with emotion.

"Turn around." He said softly. Karen lifted her hair as Drew fastened the necklace around her neck. His hands lingered on her skin, causing shivers to run down her spine.

"It's perfect, just like you." He said.

The sexual tension between them was so thick, you could cut it with a knife. They had always felt comfort in each other's arms, but tonight was different for them. This moment was about Karen and Drew rediscovering the passion that united their love so many years ago.

Drew leaned in and captured Karen's lips. She responded by her hands sliding up and down his chest before they broke the kiss.

"I want tonight to be special for us. I want to make love to you underneath the stars, just like we did on our honeymoon." He said as his voice filled with desire. Karen's breath hitched as the memories came flooding back to her.

Drew cupped Karen's face before kissing her deeply as he guided her backwards until the water lapped at their ankles. The sensation of the cool water against their skin only enhanced their arousal.

Breaking the kiss, Drew trailed his lips down Karen's neck. She arched into him, gasping as his teeth softly bit her collarbone.

He didn't need further
motivation. Positioning himself at her entrance, Drew thrust forward, filling her completely. Karen cried out, her nails digging into his shoulders as she adjusted to his size.

Together, they moved in perfect harmony, each thrust and moan blending with the rhythm of the ocean.

As they neared the height of their climax, Drew whispered words of love into Karen's ear. With one final, powerful stroke, they came over the edge as their cries echoing across the beach.

Collapsing in each other's arms, Drew and Karen lay together in the shallows of the water as they began to catch their breaths.

"Happy anniversary, my love." Drew said as his voice filled with awe. As the stars shined brightly above them, he gave Karen one final kiss.

"This one is the best one yet." She replied, already looking forward to the next forty years. Karen smiled before resting her head against his chest.
