Chapter Five: HW

*6 weeks later*

It has been 6 weeks since Han Woo was discharged from the hospital. Sung Hoon, Jay, and Jake hasn't been bothering me ever since that day. I've been taking care of Han Woo because the wounds were taking a long to time to heal. "Han Woo, let's eat..." "SHUT UP!" Ever since Han Woo was discharged, he was being really different and distant. He's also been really aggressive towards me whenever I try to help him. He was also living with me since he told me that he didn't have a home and was kicked out of the home rental. I also noticed that he was touchy with me, it wasn't the kind of touch that was an accident but the kind of touch that felt like an assault. I asked him to stop touching me before but he started to hit me and yell at me saying that I was trying to control him and make his life bad. I stopped trying to stop him even though I felt disgusted and cried every night whenever he was asleep. He also kept saying that he'll kill Sung Hoon and his friends and how they betrayed him. I didn't know what he was talking about though and I was curious. I was hesitant in asking him about it as I remember the moments when he takes his anger out on me. I took a deep breath and stepped forward "Han Woo...can I ask you something about S-Sung H-Hoon and his friends?" "Go ahead" "W-Why do you say that they were the ones who betrayed you? Why did Sung Hoon say that he didn't have a choice and beated you up?" "Won Young...there's something I need to tell you." "What is it?" "Sung Hoon, he worked for me. I'm a student that is also a business man. I asked Sung Hoon to do something for me and it wasn't something bad I swear! But, he said that he was done doing the things that I told him to do so he turned against me and has been trying to kill me. I tried to stop him and help him but it didn't work..." "But..why did he day that he didn't have a choice?" "He was faking it Won Young, he was just trying to make you not trust me and lure you in so that he can snatch you and kill you instead of me. That's why I wanted to stay here in your house so that not only I feel safe with you but so that I can protect you from him, Jay, Jake, and their men." "Men?" "Yes, they are apart of a mafia group and Sung Hoon is the mafia king. His men are loyal to him no matter what. They are trained to kill people with no hesitation and if there is a bit of hesitation in them, they get their heads ripped off. Jay and Jake who are his best friends are also his most trusted bodyguards. Jay and Jake also have the same amount of power as Sung Hoon does towards the men." I was shocked and terrified. I was being bullied by the mafia king and his bodyguards. "Wonie, it's time to go to school." "I-I don't want t-to g-go..." "It's alright Wonie, just keep ignoring them like what you've been doing for the past 6 weeks. The only thing that changed is that you know what their background is and that you are terrified. I'll be there with you anyways." "O-Okay.." We both walked to the bus stop and headed to school. I couldn't get the fact that I now know about Sung Hoon, Jay, and Jake. I decided to sleep so that I don't think about it anymore.

-Arrived at school-

"Wonie...wake up, we're here." I slowing opened my eyes as Han Woo was trying to wake me up gently. "We're here? How long was I asleep?" "2 hours-" "WHAT?! Why didn't you wake me up for school? Oh my god we're late!" "Wait! Won Young! We're not late!" "What do you mean?" "We were in traffic for 2 hours so you slept the whole time. Our teachers know about it now that the bus driver told them so they let us go." "Oh...okay, let's go to class then." We opened the classroom door and went to our seats. I sat down noticing that Sung Hoon was missing, Jay and Jake looked like they haven't slept for a really long time.

-After school-

School ended and now Han Woo and I are walking back to my house. When we walked in Han Woo took off his shoes and went to his room. After I took my shoes off and put my backpack away, Han Woo came out of his room wearing all black clothing. "Where are you going? And why are you wearing all black?" "My bodyguard said that my business is in danger and I need to go to my office right now. I can't let anybody know that I'm a business man because they'll cause me trouble." "Oh...okay, bye-" Just as I was about to finish my sentence he slammed the door and left me alone.

-Sung Hoon's POV-

I woke up and found out that I was in a dark basement and tied up to a chair. I groan as I remember that I was hit in the back of my head. I looked around trying to find an escape route. I was in the middle of finding it and I heard the door creaking open. "Oh! You're finally awake now! You were out for 3 days!" "Shut up Yoon" "Yah, is that how you greet the mafia king?" I rolled my eyes and ignored him. "You know, I was so happy when I found out that I was gonna be the mafia king now." "Tck, who would want you to be the mafia king." That was a rhetorical question. "WELL OF COURSE EVERYONE!" "You sure?" I smirked at him as his blood started boiling. After some time, he calmed down and smirked at me. "Boys, let him go so that whenever he goes to school, he can watch his little pretty princess and best friends suffer..." My eyes widened and it was my turn to yell. "DON'T YOU DARE LAY A FIBER ON THEM YOON HAN-" And before I could finish my sentence, I was hit by a metal bat.
