- julia -A Light shining through my eyelids woke me up. I can hear birds chirping, a nice sound to be woken by. It's like peace. But sometimes they be like yelling my ears off more than chirping.
It's peaceful now though, let's not complain.
I sit straight, looking around the room. I take my phone from the table beside me and check the time.
Wow, it's 9:30 in the morning, and don't be surprised this is a little bit early for me. Unlike my parents since this is too late to them.
I head to the guests' bathroom looking at my reflection on the mirror, almost jumping at the sight. My hair looks like a mess, and my eyes are puffy from sleeping.
I realize I didn't take my stuff with me. I know i have a fish memory.
I walk quickly yet quietly to my small luggage, pulling out my face wash and toothbrush, and head back to the bathroom.
I don't want to traumatize anyone.
After finishing my business, I went down the stairs, but to my surprise there is no one down here. I count this as something weird, since my parents are the type of morning people that makes noise the moment they wake up, they could even wake the whole city.
I head to the backyard even though I'm only in black shorts and a grey sweatshirt. To my relief, As i get close to there, the sounds get louder.
"Hey julia!!" Cora hugs me tightly as soon as I walk out, I realize that everyone is here. "I was going to wake you up how a perfect timing" she adds smiling.
I smile back looking around, they're preparing breakfast on a long table and everyone looks busy. Mom is putting dishes on the table, dad's arranging every chair in front of each plate, Talia Cora's mother is watering the plants, with her husband Greyson beside her. Olivia and William are spreading the spoons around the plates, Ginny Aiden's mother is bringing the food out of the kitchen.
It's not even 10:00 in the morning and everyone is hyped up.
"Oh yeah?, it really is because I'm starving" i whine and giggle a little bit.
"Jayden's gone to the market to bring you orange juice, he said you love it" Cora grabbed my hand while walking further to the backyard.
"Oh my god he's the sweetest" i speak out as i get more excited. Yes orange juice was my favorite drink since forever and still is. I believe that it's the reason why i have clear skin.
But the thing is that Jayden doesn't even know that i love it. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. But not pushing it further. It's not a big deal, is it?.
I look to my left, there's Dean giving Odin some treats in the little blue bowl. He lifts his head and looks to my direction, his eyes roaming my body but not in a bad way. Then we make eye contact, his eyes widen a little bit then back to normal, it's like he didn't realize that i saw him checking me out.
I smile at him but he quickly lowers his gaze with a slight scowl to where his dog is, and continues petting him.
I turn to Cora "I'm gonna get my clothes changed". I look down at my T-shirt and then back to Cora. She nods and puts a kiss on my cheek.
